Anis PoV
I snuggled Pingui as he kept usin' his sonar to look for dolphins in the big crystal water castles.
Pingui looked around. "I don't detect any jumpers, Lady Anis."
I pouted. "Keep trying, Pingui! Ya got big polar sonar!"
Pingui gave two tiny, dignified squeaks against my mitten. "My belly needs some food, Lady Anis."
I frowned. "Pingui needs food, Ma, Pa! Says his sonar can't ping properly on an empty tummy!"
"That so?" Pa rumbled, his deep voice vibrating right through the wool of his coat into my ribs. His big forearm stayed wrapped solid under my knees, keeping me steady while I held Pingui out for inspection.
I nodded. "Yes! He wants some bun!"
Pa hummed. "But we barely got here. We would have to pay entry again.
"We'll just get a stamp on our hands on the way out," Ma said, a gentle, teasing smile playing on her lips as she reached over to tuck a stray strand of hair behind my ear. "They let you walk right back in after a quick snack."
