The life of the residents living in the eastern part of the Esper Kingdom by the Maland River hasn't worsened. Although most townships have split into small villages, without the exploitation of nobles and city families, civilians harvest even more crops each year.
"You could ask the eastern residents about their views on goblins, see if they consider goblins as allies or enemies."
Shami calmly retorted Delarosa.
But his words did not make Delarosa reflect.
"How about a deal?"
Delarosa saw a glimmer of hope to continue his family's rule over Esper, eagerly stepping forward.
"I also made deals with the previous Demon King Luwaka."
"What kind of deal?"
Shami silently looked over.
"You withdraw the goblin army, and guarantee no attacks on the Esper Kingdom during your reign. Each year, you can reimburse 70% of your expenses at the Succubus Tea House through us."
"Sorry, a good Demon King never visits the Succubus Tea House."
Shami smiled, rejecting Delarosa's offer.
