As the group was scattering themselves, Bronx was quick on stopping by the small shop. Instruments across the window side, each one housing a String with the finest wood and strings to make up such a musical piece. As he kept moving, someone would try to follow behind.
While Harvard and the other children were trying to keep themselves occupied, Envy was able to still move around and gesture at the locations that could lead to an easier answer. Once they were led outside of the Kingdom's walls, Koina would investigate the footprints proper, allowing her to deduce the figure and follow them. While standard individuals wouldn't be able to find such people in a stampede of prints, Koina, and to an extent Adel and Tsukiya, had their senses heightened to easily track and shape the person behind the prints. The latter would even set up Shikigami to copy the body shape of the person, slashing at it and making a Noppera-bo, allowing the faceless humanoid to step into those prints and mold themselves to see who best fits them. Basing it off of the scuffle and damages from the trees' bark, it was of average height. Koina would utilize her Carp Magic to swim across the sky, holding onto one of such fish to trail after.
Her mission was simple: Gather information and take down whoever is responsible for the attack on Envy's mind, be it friend or foe.
A few knocks on the door to try and signal out the owner of the shop, with Koina lingering atop the roof. As she'd try to keep a close eye, she'd also notice a few markings across the walls, another person trying to step into Calibren and possibly intensify the investigation further. She'd keep herself far away from the wandering eyes of such Hieroglyphs, before hearing the door open and following inside. Aside from the Mahogany wood and the finely sharpened stone as its floor, it was a standard shop, nothing notable worth into the mystery. She'd set up the small carp around her to pool over, washing her face and body, letting it wrinkle and disguise herself on the fly, drying herself with the harsh sun to avoid detection. She'd crook herself forward and twiddle her fingers, to play dumb, peering her eyes over to see what the Sniper in Hell was doing. "Volvo? You here?" Bronx would ask, yelling to catch the man's attention, but no luck. His steps echoed across the shop, using his barrel to move aside any objects around, seeing if anything hidden lingered around in such wares. As he continued, the Hieroglyphs snuck themselves in through the small cracks, small glints to catch at the very least Koina's eyes.
"Those glyphs... It can't be that he's here, right?" Koina thought to herself. As she looked over to see who else was hiding, the glyphs finally take notice of her. Because of her aged appearance, however, they thought none the wiser, assuming her as merely an elder that probably past their prime from Orochi and was discarded away. Bronx would be able to notice the lingering gaze the woman gave, turning his head back to see what was going on. As soon as Bronx tried to give the same look, they disappeared.
"Ma'am, what are you looking at exactly?" The Sniper asked, prompting the woman to be stunned a bit.
"Oh yous darned whippersnappers can' help but try and give ol' me a heart attack! Mind your business, why don't'cha?!" Koina responded, her voice gravely as she tuned it, letting her dagger dribble down and snag one of the bows to let it act as a cane she can wave around. Such a performance, even if improvised, was enough to make Bronx quickly turn his head away, his nervous face letting her know she's in the clear. Eventually, he arrived. A Strong, older man with a towering build and muscles capable of breaking buildings apart. A burly mustache and beard, as well as a small glow across his arms, almost as if they were enhanced in some way. His main outfit is a mere robe, feathers tethered onto his sides, as well as a pair of white gloves with a crane's symbol on each one. A Gentle giant, as he'd remain quiet when entering, his presence looming, before giving a small wave to the two.
"Why hello there! Are you here to make a purchase on these wonderful instruments?" He'd ask. Koina's eyes widened a bit, pondering if this was the person. A small tag was visible on his chest, letting her confirm it without questioning.
Volvo Vizien.
As she was given the know-how, so too did Bronx, which he was able to raise his hand and get the first say. "Somewhat, yeah. This your shop, I'm assuming? I want to see what kinds of Violins you made here. Maybe might take one for myself to pass the time."
"Oh! Why if it isn't the hero of Calibren! The one who stepped in against that tar-filled beast, right? My kids were playing pretend on that exact moment, no thanks to you!" A small quip, as well as a light punch onto Bronx's shoulders, as the two would be led out through the store and into a hallway. Koina followed in pursuit, watching off the corners of her eyes the Hieroglyphs following behind. Whoever has such glyphs would most likely be planning on attacking Bronx as he was trying to do his own look around. Once they followed, all three started to feel a presence, emanating from Volvo's arms.
The Hieroglyphs turned tail, keeping themselves at a distance. Koina would start to feel nauseous, her mind fluttering as if a swarm of bats invaded in her body, churning around and keeping her from focusing. It was no doubt the disguise's weakness, but she remained to keep it on as long as possible in order to see what happened on that area. Bronx would struggle the same, but to a lesser effect. He has endured this sensation before. An overwhelming might that would leave one breathless, as if they scaled up the highest peak. His cores were acting as a key to the other room, a cacophony of sounds echoing in his mind. Hoots and chirps from his ears, as if a forest spawned before the group. Volvo's more experienced with his magic.
Question is, how experienced?
