Chapter 461 - Chapter 461: Innocent Man

The Ice breaks as Koske cleaves forward, parting the frigid air like they were waves, slowly creating a tsunami, with Stolas pushed back, his body beginning to freeze through the stars. Aquarius would be casted to double the heat, sweating away as he thawed, trying to scale up the shelves and use the constellation to travel up high. Koske merely stabbed his blade down, letting the jagged spikes rise and try to take him out from the roof, forcing the Avian to lunge himself down to the ground again, launching Aquarius and risk his energy drained. Once attached to the Nutcracker, Stolas would change the stars, from the pouring water to a proper build, letting Gemini take his body as the template to create two identical figures, both of which would try for a hook. Koske would plant his foot on the blade and jump back, evading the two strikes, letting the chill in the air catch them as personal walls, segmenting the celestial bodies.

"Second.... Dance." He'd demand, letting the hands extend out from the barriers, spreading like a web, a personalized snowflake to impede their movements. Stolas would rush in and cast out Draco, a starry breath attack in retaliation, melting the ice once more. He could feel his body draining by the minute. His feathers are starting to glue themselves onto each other. His mind now taking a feverish heat. If he doesn't find a solution on how to beat this man from his sacred battleground, he's going to be an icicle. That thought is what made him understand why he made this arena. A homefield advantage, a chance to prevent further casting so long as he remained in charge. "You've taken notice. Your eyes are getting brighter..." Koske was just as observant as Stolas was when realizing the situation.

A gamble that he has to take, as he'd let Draco expand and become Aquarius again, spreading itself around the makeshift battleground. A smirk on the bird's face as he'd brace for impact.

Solomon, meanwhile, would send the horse forward, letting Shady expand his arms, passing the child the blade in order to strike her when she's caught. Juna would jump up, extending her neck to stab into the roof with her beak, pulling herself up, barely dodging the hands. Flipping overhead, she'd try to rip off one of the shelves and smack the child with it, anticipating the shadow to move him. Instead, Solomon lifted his blade to parry the wooden block, striking it away, leaving her wide open for another attack, with his free arm quickly casting another plague, one of Frogs, to invade into her system. A gruesome mess, for sure, but with such thick blood and sinew, it would clog up the gears that made her function. She'd see that very plan before her eyes, snapping her fingers in response.

BWOOOOOH!

Time froze still, as a frog would be smacked into her center, no gore involved. She'd carefully move the frog away from her system, before getting up and tossing the board to act as a shield against the frogs.

BWOOOOOH!

Time resumes. Solomon would be annoyed as Juna used her Magic, letting the horse turn around, with Shady now shaping his hands to Javelins in order to pierce through whatever defenses she'd try. Juna would back herself up, reaching for the ice wall, feeling it, seeing water trickle down across her gloves, the fabric as her indicator. Once Shady was in position, She'd snap her fingers, immediately fast forwarding time and setting up the Shadow to be imprisoned within the sculpture, as it got hotter with Draco. Solomon would leap into the void in order to evade the explosion, but Juna snapped her fingers a third time to force a reversal, dragging the Biblical Sorcerer out and grabbing him by the leg, chucking him into a wall.

KA-BOOOOOOOM!!!

SHIKK!!!!!

A massive explosion, shards flying everywhere, the heat covering the entire store, fire beginning to pick up, toys and games acting as fuel. Juna would use this propulsion to set up an Icicle, spearing Solomon straight through his stomach. No screams were let out, shock too much to bear, his blood pooling along with the cold water melting away the ice, forcing the wound to open with each second. "Your face is going to be chalk soon, Coo~! Might as well give your apologies when you pass~. Your time is nearly up, let's not waste a second longer." She'd whisper, her beak close to Solomon's ear, before opening its maw and trying to bite his head off.

SNIP!!!

An immediate cut, as Solomon closed his eyes and brace. Seconds pass, an indicator that something went awry. He'd open one of his eyes to see that he was on the ground, recovering himself, the wound still visible. He'd see a trail of blood in front of him, following it. His eyes widened when he saw Stolas standing, one of his arms being lobbed off, a clean cut. He could see the two guards watching over, with Juna wiping the blood off of her beak, whilst Koske let the frost envelop his stump, allowing Stolas to not worry about any further blood loss. Solomon was quick on setting up Garden of Eden, desperately trying to find his friend's missing arm. Stolas merely staring down at the two, seeing the woman possess the blade. "Juna..." Koske asked, to which she'd giggle cheerfully and showed the small trail that lingered on her tongue.

She ate Stolas' arm. Bit it off completely and took it in with one gulp.

"...She's not human. She's probably storing your arm in where the stomach usually is. Tear that out, and I can be able to get it back." Solomon stated, to which Stolas nodded in affirmation, before staring back at them. Even still, the Biblical Sorcerer would feel guilty on what he's done. "...And... I'm sorry. I'm probably a liability at this point-"

"Nah." Stolas would reply, shifting his gaze to the Sorcerer, a smile on his face. "You're my brother at this point. Everyone is. That's what brothers usually do."
