Chapter 460 - Chapter 460: Dire Push

Stolas would create a small light, preparing himself, firing it straight ahead towards Koske, the hands quickly circling around to create a barrier, shaking violently to let the frigid air spread around and ensure no further interruptions are made here. The Nutcracker would raise his blade, parrying the star, striking it back at sender. Stolas reciprocates by moving at the star's path, punching it directly, mimicking that parry. The two locked eyes with one another as they'd brace themselves, as for the next few minutes, that light began to shine brighter and move faster with each hit, the two moving at similar speeds, watching it turn from a mere ball to a massive streak, cutting through the ice-like hands like nothing, the liquid pooling into the area. Koske can't help but smile at seeing Stolas' determination, watching as he'd try to match with the Nutcracker with as much energy as possible.

Meanwhile, Solomon would enlarge his book, letting the pages unfold, winds picking up, a deep breath escaping from him. "Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill shall be made low....."

"The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth...."

The winds kick harder, a weapon escaping from its pages. Juna would be excited, sprouting out 4 clock hands, a direct aim for his vitals, launching them in time with his words. A brief parry, letting the rot paint over the black steel, as Solomon would take on his next words, a new spin given for his summon.

"Every field wrought in anguish, for pestilence shall grow...."

"Famine awaits you... As above... So Below."

A horse brought to him, with the book's new contents warping its shape. Once brown, now black. Once spots, now holes which peers into its muscles and bones. The lower mouth detached, as Solomon gets on top. The blades Juna fashioned would show proper wear, letting her clash it against the wall to have it come off, with the blades shortened slightly. "Told you to not give your weakness away. If I get rid of those blades... all that's left is your beak." Solomon would state, letting the horse charge in, sword in tow, aiming for a clean slash towards her neck. Juna would simply let one of her clock hands catch the blade, turning it to set up a counter with her other, before watching the Shadow take his shape and rise up with his own blade, forcing another block and a kick at the Horse's knee, pushing it down.

"Coo~! You're a smart one! For being a Fool, you're definitely coming on as a proper person. Your parents must be so proud, coo~!"

Solomon gripped his sword tighter as he went for another swing, letting Shady extend out and strike at her when she least expected it, a massive slash against her body, the wood and small gears quickly leaving out of her. "They are."

The two boys charged ahead with their opposition, with Koske preparing his blade in catching the light, letting the frost build up further, realizing Stolas' idea in using the heat to speed up its shot, a mere parry not doing as much to defend himself. Stolas would set up another star, firing it out, forcing Koske to tank it as he'd push the streak away. "Third... Dance." He'd struggle, as he'd allow the ice around his greatsword to curve. The Stellar Sorcerer reinforces his Zodiac Man, preparing himself, as a mass beam of lights blast out, scattering, aiming for his vitals. Stolas would rush through, dodging each of them, his arms held close in his body, bob and weaving like a boxer, before reaching close and lunging up to land a heavy uppercut, the frost being reciprocal as he was blasted down by such ice. Furthermore, the stars would refract back, as the hands nudge their fingers out so they can redirect the beams, scattering it further. Such light was extracting the very energy, the ability of his stars, forming across the ice, a galactic setting to give the illusion of Space. Even as they came, however, Stolas merely smiled as he'd let the ice melt below his feet, slipping down and grabbing ahold of the chunk, bringing it down to its wooden skull.

KRACC!!!

A massive blow, the mouth and a quarter of the head broken off, spilling the chill all over. Furthermore, the beams pierced through his body, the might of the stars storming through like it was nothing. Much like it, however, the ice creeps up, guarding the cranium and body, slowly reforging him from what he was before. "Tu peux avancer..." The Nutcracker bellowed, as he'd ready his blade again for the next attack.

At the same time, the two clashed against Juna, with Shady occupying the body, and Solomon the hands, slowly chipping his way down, letting the carbon eat up such steel, wearing down her weapons until they were shrunk down to mere sticks of its former self, wound after wound against Juna's body, more clockwork shown, more gears visible, before Shady decided to ram the blade into one of them, jamming it, ceasing her movements, until she ejected her head out and aimed to strike at the horse's legs, biting through two and force Solomon to go lopsided, making Shady's blade be moved away, regaining her motor control. Despite the injuries, she'd giggle, curving her head down to see the wounds inflicted, her eyes following the gears, almost as if she never saw such injuries before. "I take it nobody has ever cut that deep in you?" Solomon asked.

Juna nodded with gusto as her head recoiled back. "None so far! Then again, they don't last long, coo~. Their end of time is my beginning! Their loss, my gain! I never noticed there's so many gizmo's and gears in my body. Did you?"

"Had a theory it was the case." He'd snap his fingers as the blade was passed to Shady, letting him be tied around, letting the horse bond with the shadows, the darkness as its new Rider. "So, how exactly are you going to use your magic now? Don't seem to have much left in you, is there?"

"Quite right, coo~! It's so exhilarating, being cornered like this~! Mr. Brunono was setting up some new defenses on us if at any point we were surpassed."

"By all means then, show me."

Juna wagged her finger as she'd crack her knuckles, her gloves now timeless, as the clocks trailed up to her iris, the hands ticking away the tension. "Not yet! Let's not rush things, coo~!"
