Chapter 412 - Chapter 412: New Look

"Harvaaaard! Solomoooon! Stolaaaaaas? Zazeeeeeeeel!!" Tsukiya shouted as much as she could, trying to find the children after seeing such arson, as well as Envy utilizing his tar to create eyes, letting them branch out and search around the forest. As they traveled across the forest, watching the smolders of flames slowly dying out, as well as the rubble and remains of the massive tower left behind, the two would eventually find the children at a nearby spring, a waterfall crashing down beneath them. The two blinked as they'd see the kids playing in such waters, some splashing them near their eyes, others simply relaxing until they ended up getting dragged in. Harvard was quick in his movements, swimming like an athlete, as he'd create a small explosion of water to coat the three. Solomon, annoyed beyond belief, retaliated using Red Sea Ark, washing him over ashore to the dirt and debris, laughing to himself as he'd see the once puffy hair he had be ruined to a long, sloppy mess. Stolas merely had a ring of stars around him, training his body with the heat, giggling to himself as he'd try to adjust his position. Such hot waters must've made his skin more sensitive. Zazel, lastly, merely floated around in a starfish position, staring up towards the sun. Despite the common man having their retinas damaged, a Devil's eyes are actually able to comprehend the full shape and brightness directly, due to his own iris cutting off at the right position. "There you guys are! Was thinking you guys died during your trai-" Tsukiya would joke, before stopping herself and noticing something.

The children were somehow built differently.

Stronger arms, stronger legs, with the boys even having a six pack. The descendant's jaws nearly left their faces as they'd see the boys stretching, their strong build matching perfectly with an immense amount of energy radiating from their bodies, nearly five times than what they've seen before. "How did you guys..." Envy questioned, blinking like mad as the boys got out of the small oasis.

"Got stronger? Well when you had to box your literal self in a Dimensional Monster, it gets a bit silly!" Harvard would giggle to himself as he'd cast a spell, the same capes of invisibility, letting all four dry themselves with it, as they'd be quick in donning their proper clothing.

"Yeah but doesn't that take MONTHS???"

"We actually adapted Solomon's style into Rubix once we found out it was gonna be a physical endurance. Thanks in advance, by the way!"

Solomon rolled his eyes at Harvard's compliment as he explained further, whilst he was the first to come out, now wearing a count's clothing, but still with the same red and orange garbs. Bronze buttons were visible on his apparel, with the cloth previously behind acting as a proper cape and cowl. "To put it simply, we found out another Book Magic user, who did a whole world within that very story. We were forced to play through that story and ended up aging up the longer we stayed there. Sooooo, by taking that other world stuff and applying it to Harvard's magic, mostly by connecting the energy from the book to the Monster..."

"We basically accelerated time for ourselves and achieved the perfect strength!" Stolas would interrupt, also donning something new. A cowboy's fit, with the same vest and pants as his fathers, complete with a replica of his hat and gauntlets, obviously smaller to accommodate his size. Sleeves were torn off so that his arms can be fully bandaged, a protection from any blows that come close. Such bandages were in red, as he'd give his thanks to Solomon for such. Inscriptions of the Constellations were on its cloth, as well as sharp steel on his claws, letting him hack and slash with ease.

"And....how much exactly did you guys spent with that little montage??" Envy was starting to question more and more about how sensical these kids were.

"A year, at most. That was how we experienced it beforehand." Zazel's explanation would be followed by Harvard's agreement, as they both come out with a fresher look. The devil's black leather jacket remains, though is now matched by black jeans, with silver studs in the shape of small spikes embedded around both fabrics. White gloves were donned on him, alongside a white, sharp belt that properly wraps around his waist. Finally, a small hole was made around his pants to let a small tail be properly free. Small and thin, a pointed edge at the end. The true sign of a demon. Harvard, meanwhile, had a new style altogether. White two-piece suit with a black tie, his hair smaller, yet still retaining that puffiness from before. A detail noticeable was that the tie had a Fraser spiral pattern. His fingers were a bit longer than the average hand, his body cooperating with his Nuckelavee side. The most visible, however, comes in the form of his eyes. The same pattern, but now with a massive, vertical slit on the iris, acting as a secondary eye within the primary. As if he had two eyes in the same socket. It's bizarre style would make the two descendants ponder what exactly has Harvard went through. "Buuuut enough about that. I'm starving! You guys up for some grub?" Zazel asked, catching their attention back.

"D'ah... I mean not really? Living tar doesn't really have a stomach, y'now-"

"I WANT SOME FOOD! PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE!!!" Tsukiya's interruption immediately had the boys begin a small hunt, mainly for any animals in the vicinity to cook. Envy would sigh as he'd see the Kitsune's childish antics, wondering how she was able to function, before a voice came up.

"OI! WHAT YOU BOYS DOIN' IN ME SPRINGS!? THIS BE PRIVATE PROPERTY!!" The voice yelled, immediately alerting everyone and having them scatter, but the person was quick on catching them all, the water weighing down their bodies as they'd be stuck in place, arrows made on the droplets. "Aye aye! Relax! Just need you boys to fess up and we'll be good.." Such a voice, despite trying to be friendly, merely gave everyone more panic.

They were not expecting this area to be actual sacred ground, much less from people nearby.
