Chapter 3 - (III)Prologue:- A The New Beginning

Forest of Jura – Present Day

Lightning crackled through the sky as storm clouds swirled above the Forest of Jura. The ancient, once-peaceful trees trembled under the pressure of accumulating magicules. The air was thick—suffocating. Mana storms rolled across the heavens, heralding the return of a force the world had not felt in half a decade.

At the heart of the forest, hidden from civilization, a vortex of golden and black energy surged within a clearing.

And then—

Silence.

The vortex imploded with a thunderous shockwave, flattening the surrounding trees and sending beasts scattering in terror.

Standing at its center was a figure—a man, tall and lean, with hair like silver flames and eyes glowing gold, flickering with electric blue. His body radiated divine pressure, yet he remained grounded—controlled.

This was the new Storm Dragon.

Veldora… reborn.

But not as the world remembered him.

Inside this body—this storm-forged vessel—was the soul of a man named Sandep: a man who had once failed at life, who had spent forty hollow years in another world. A man who had lost everything to fear, regret, and complacency.

And now… he was something else entirely.

Within the Mind – Veldora's Soulscape

Inside the metaphysical realm of the soul, two figures stood facing each other across a shifting plane of silver sand and lightning-filled skies.

One was Veldora, the wild, reckless dragon—his spiritual form still draconic, with feral golden eyes and a savage grin.

The other was Sandep—humanoid, tired, hunched slightly under the weight of years of emotional pain, yet with a sharp glimmer in his human eyes.

Their souls had begun merging five years ago, but until now, they had never truly spoken.

Veldora: "So… you're the one who got dumped in with me. Hah! You've got guts, showing your face now."

Sandep: "I didn't ask for this."

Veldora: "Neither did I. I died, remember? My sister killed me because I got a little carried away."

Sandep: "You destroyed an entire city."

Veldora: "It was barely standing to begin with."

A pause. The wind between them howled with raw, unchecked mana.

Sandep: "I wasted forty years being afraid to live. You wasted centuries doing whatever you wanted."

Veldora's grin widened.

Veldora: "Something new."

And with that, the storm inside them calmed—just slightly.

Their two souls merged into one. Though he would be called Veldora from the moment he was reborn, in truth, he was both Veldora and Sandep—and, at the same time, neither. He now possessed both of their memories, emotions, and regrets.

Outside – Awakening

As the sky cleared slightly above Jura, the new Veldora opened his eyes in humanoid form. He breathed in the air of this world—his world, now. The sensation was sharp, real. He could hear the heartbeat of the earth, feel the resonance of every blade of grass beneath his feet.

But more than that…

He could feel regret.

The regrets of both souls—the things Sandep had left undone, and the destruction Veldora had caused.

He would carry them.

Veldora (thinking): This power… it won't be wasted on indulgence. I won't live like I did before. Not as Sandep. And not as Veldora.

He reached into the air, and a crackle of energy sparked between his fingers.

Veldora: "I will control the storm. I am the storm."

Elsewhere – Eastern Empire

High in a marble tower of the Nasca Kingdom, the Star King Dragon, Veldanava, stood motionless, staring out over the lands he ruled.

A soft voice came from behind him.

Lucia: "It's him, isn't it?"

Veldanava: "Yes. He's returned."

Lucia: "But... he feels different."

Veldanava: "Because he is."

He turned slightly, a thoughtful frown crossing his face.

Veldanava: "Two souls merged into one—one forged by ancient chaos, the other born of modern sorrow."

Flashback – 5,000 Years Ago

Long ago, Veldora had come to Veldanava seeking help to control his unstable magicules. But Veldanava, finding it too exhausting to handle personally, sent him to Velzard for training.

Velzard's methods were brutal. She killed Veldora multiple times during their sessions. Eventually, overwhelmed and traumatized, Veldora escaped and went into hiding in the Forest of Jura.

Seeing his brother broken, Veldanava felt pity. To help him, he split Veldora's soul into two parts.

The first part remained—Veldora's main personality.

The second part, he sent to another dimension, where time flowed faster than in their own—a world where people saw the Tensura world as mere fiction, a story for entertainment.

Veldanava continued watching both Veldora and his other half silently, never interfering in their lives. When Sandep—the other half—died in that world, Veldanava retrieved his soul and merged it back with the original Veldora.

This stabilized Veldora's magicules and made him stronger. He even gained fragments of incomplete future memories.

But even Veldanava did not fully understand what Sandep had experienced. Shortly after splitting Veldora's soul and sending part of it to Earth-616, Veldanava gave up his divine powers—deliberately.

He had done it to avoid spoilers from the future.

Northern Ice Continent

Velzard's wings spread wide as she burst into the sky from her glacial palace, Guy Crimson flying alongside her.

Velzard: "He's back."

Guy: "And you're going to kill him again?"

Velzard gave him a calm but chilling glance.

Velzard: "Do you think I'm a psychopath who enjoys torturing and killing others—especially my own younger brother? I only beat or kill him when he causes real trouble."

Guy (thinking): (You are a psychopath. You and Velgrynd tortured Veldora so much he developed permanent trauma. That's why he destroyed cities like Night Rose City.)

Guy (nervous): "Absolutely not. You're the calmest person I've ever met. It was definitely Veldora's fault."

Velzard: "Good. At least you understand why I do what I do."

She turned southward, her expression unreadable.

Velzard: "This time… Veldora's aura is stronger than ever—and far more stable. If I don't use my Ultimate Skill, he could defeat me in a one-on-one fight. The same goes for Velgrynd."

---

Back in the Forest – Alone

The new Veldora looked up at the clouds as a soft drizzle began to fall. Rain washed over his face, and for the first time in either soul's memory… he smiled—not out of pride or foolishness, but from clarity.

A new life.

A new storm.

A second chance—for both of them.
