Chapter 2 - (II)Prologue:- Return Of Veldora

FIVE years had passed since Velzard had killed Veldora.

Now, across the world, Veldora's dispersed magicules had begun to gather—slowly but surely—into the Forest of Jura. The land, once relatively calm, was now teeming with new threats. A-rank and S-rank monsters began appearing in abnormal numbers.

It was an undeniable sign—

The Storm Dragon Veldora was about to revive.

Northern Ice Continent – Guy Crimson's Castle

The icy winds howled over the snow-covered plains, yet the grand castle at the heart of the continent remained untouched, its walls laced with ancient magic.

Inside, a crimson-haired man looked out the frost-rimmed window.

Guy Crimson: "A massive surge of magicules is heading for the Forest of Jura. Looks like your younger brother is finally returning."

Sitting beside him was the legendary Forst Dragon—Velzard. She wore her signature cold expression, the corners of her lips curving into a slight smirk.

Velzard: "That idiot finally decided to crawl his way back. About time."

Her voice carried both amusement and frost.

Velzard: "I should give him a little punishment for causing so much trouble."

Guy: "Don't be so harsh on him. It's been 5 years. And honestly, it's not entirely his fault that so many S- and A-rank monsters are showing up. The same thing would happen if you or I died and our magicules were scattered before a revival."

Velzard turned toward Guy, her icy smile sharpening like a blade.

Velzard: "So you're saying it's my fault now? I kill my fool of a brother to teach him a lesson, and the aftermath causes a worldwide monster outbreak. Great."

Guy felt a cold sweat form on his brow. Internally, he thought: Yes, it is your fault... but I enjoy living, so I'll keep that thought to myself.

Standing nearby, two of Guy's personal maids—Primordial Demons Blue and Green, better known as Rain and Misery—watched the exchange with amusement.

Rain: "Blanc-onee-chan and Velzard-sama are really alike, huh?"

Misery: "Hmm… terrifyingly alike."

Sensing the tension, Guy quickly shifted the conversation.

Guy: "What's strange is how long Veldora is taking this time. His revival is unusually slow. Not only that, but the birth rate of high-tier monsters has increased four to five times compared to normal. Something is off…"

Velzard frowned, considering his words seriously for the first time.

Eastern Empire – Kingdom of Nasca

In the lush royal garden of Nasca's capital, beneath the gentle sunlight filtering through golden leaves, Star King Dragon Veldanava sat quietly beside his wife, Lucy. On Lucy's lap, their five-year-old daughter Milme lay fast asleep, her peaceful breathing blending with the sound of rustling grass.

Suddenly, Veldanava looked up at the sky, sensing a familiar current in the flow of magicules.

A smile played at the edge of his lips.

Lucy: "You're smiling all of a sudden. What is it?"

Veldanava: "It's nothing serious. I can feel my troublesome little brother's magicules in the wind. Seems he's finally ready to return. And this time… his magicules are far more stable. Looks like he's finally formed a proper humanoid body."

He paused, his tone growing thoughtful.

Veldanava: "Perhaps it's time I grant him his own Ultimate Skill."

Lucy blinked in surprise.

Lucy: "That reminds me… wasn't there some trouble between Veldora and Rudra?"

---

Flashback – Many Years Ago

It was long before Veldanava and Rudra exchanged their Ultimate Skills.

Bored and aimless, Veldora had unleashed destruction upon a city for no other reason than to entertain himself. The result was catastrophic—over ten thousand soldiers from Rudra's empire were killed.

Furious, Rudra had attempted to imprison Veldora for eternity using his Ultimate Skill: Uriel.

However, Velgrynd intervened before the sealing could be completed.

She was willing to allow Rudra to use the Unique Skill: Infinity Prison—a powerful seal, but one that could potentially be broken someday.

But using Uriel? That would have meant Veldora would be sealed for all eternity—absolutely no escape.

Velgrynd couldn't accept that.

Flashback Ends

Lucy: "My brother's still angry at Veldora, isn't he?"

Veldanava chuckled softly.

Royal Palace – Nasca Kingdom

In the capital's grand palace, Rudra Nam Ul Nasca, Emperor of the Eastern Empire, sat on his throne with a frustrated expression.

Reports of monstrous attacks flooded in daily. Towns and borders were overwhelmed by increasingly powerful threats—spawned from Veldora's ever-gathering magicules.

Rudra: "I really regret not sealing your brother when I had the chance, Velgrynd."

Standing beside the throne, Velgrynd offered him a small, awkward smile but said nothing.

She remembered clearly the day she stopped Rudra from using Uriel. Back then, she had believed that Veldora would change… that he'd grow up someday.

Now, with the continent under threat, she wasn't so sure.

Meanwhile – Forest of Jura

The dense forest was silent. But deep within its heart, an unseen force pulsed.

Magicules thickened with every passing moment, swirling in unnatural patterns. Trees began mutating, the land itself warping under the pressure. Monsters—beasts with scales of steel and eyes that burned like suns—crawled forth from ancient crevices.

And in the deepest part of the forest, where light no longer reached, a swirling vortex of golden and black magicules began to take shape.

Inside it…

A humanoid form floated—arms crossed, eyes closed.

The Storm Dragon, Veldora, was returning.

And this time, he wasn't coming back as just a dragon .
