In the small living room outside the VIP ward, Clara Jacobs sat as a nurse carefully bandaged her hand.
"Ms. Jacobs, all done. Try to keep it out of the water for the next few days," the nurse advised.
After the nurse left, Aiden Sinclair walked over.
"Aiden, Jay Keane told me what happened at the company. You don't have to worry about Mom. I'll take good care of her," Clara Jacobs said, sounding very considerate.
Aiden Sinclair's expression was impassive. He only said, "Have you thought about what I mentioned last time?"
After learning that Clara Jacobs had risked her life to save him, Aiden Sinclair had told her he would grant her three requests.
Clara Jacobs lowered her head slightly. "Aiden, you know what I want."
'She could forgive him for using her in the past. All she wanted in this life was to marry Aiden Sinclair.'
