A doctor wheeled Sophia Sawyer out of the emergency room.
"Mr. Sinclair, we've done everything we could. Your mother's life isn't in danger, but her legs were too severely injured. It's unlikely she'll be able to walk normally again..." the doctor told Aiden Sinclair.
"What are you saying? You're saying Mom's legs... How is that possible? You must be a bunch of incompetent quacks..." Clara Jacobs cried out from the side.
Aiden Sinclair's gaze darkened as he shot a look at Clara Jacobs, who immediately fell silent.
Aiden Sinclair asked the doctor for more details about Sophia Sawyer's condition, then returned to her hospital room.
The anesthesia hadn't worn off yet. Sophia Sawyer lay on the hospital bed, both her legs wrapped in thick plaster casts and bandages.
"Have you found the cause of the car accident?"
