By morning the next day Naruto was healed completely and given the green light to leave the hospital by surprisingly a doctor that didn't give him a subtle look of disgust or averted her gaze from him.
'Maybe she's one of the professional ones'
"Okay Naruto-kun you are all healed and thankfully you don't have any abnormalities as well so you're free to go, thank care of yourself and hopefully I don't see you here for quite some time"
Naruto gave the female Doctor-Medic nin-whatever his patented grin. "No promises but I sure hope so" He got a playful flick on his forehead at his expense. "Rascal, Now get out of here unless you want to sample some of the hospital food"
And like that Naruto bolted out of there!
Only to be stopped a familiar Dog masked Anbu in the Hospital's entrance "Kaka-I mean Inu-nii?" Kakashi in turn gave him a nod "Good morning Naruto I'm here to take you home and off duty you can call me by my name"
Naruto didn't find anything weird about that and let Kakashi put his hand on his shoulder as he used a seal-less Shunshin and disappeared in a swirl of leaves with the young blonde. Naruto felt a bit dizzy when the world stopped shaking around him and shook his head to clear it out.
"Ugh....that was awesome but I almost want to vomit.....Uhhh Inu-nii this isn't my apartment" Naruto wanted to ask about the Shunshin jutsu but stopped when he looked at the building in front of him which as he said was not his apartment building considering it wasn't nearly as dilapidated but seemed under Good and safe conditions.
"Hokage-sama's orders. Since the last incident he feels it would be much more safer and convenient for you to live somewhere else and hey you know the apartment you're gonna stay in is right next to mine so if you ever need anything just knock" Kakashi explained with a eye-smile as he led Naruto inside the building while Naruto himself was suddenly lost in thought.
'Already a canon divergence? or maybe "canon" was just one timeline of events'
When they reached the 5th floor Kakashi and Naruto stopped as they saw someone very familiar for very different reasons as Kakashi suddenly wanted to facepalm "YOSH! How are you this youthful morning my eternal rival Kakashi!"
"...Just Great Guy and don't call me by my name when I'm on duty it's Inu"
As for Naruto he was torn between horror seeing this storm of green with absurdly huge eyebrows giving his nice guy pose with a gleaming smile that wouldn't look out of place in a Colgate commercial! or utterly fanboying seeing one of the most badass goated Characters in the series! 'Holy Shit! It's Might Guy himself!'
"My bad my eternal Kakashi! to compensate for my mistake I'll run 10 laps around Konoha and if not I'll run an extra 10 on my fingers!" Kakashi already felt exhausted and drained when Guy's attention came towards Naruto. "Oh! Who is this youthful one Kakashi!"
Naruto greeted Guy politely. "Hello Guy-san I'm Naruto Uzumaki, I'm a new tenant here starting today" Guy gave his patented toothpase commercial worthy smile as he shook Naruto's hand vigorously shaking the poor blonde like a vibrator. "Nice to meet you Naruto-kun! welcome to your first day here I can already tell the flames of youth are bright within you!"
At this moment Kakashi decided to come to my rescue. "Guy your laps?" Guy's eyes widened "Oh yes! Thank you for reminding me Kakashi. YOUTH!!!" With a dramatic yell Guy jumped off the 5th floor and landed on the streets before turning into a green blur.
Naruto looked blankly at him through the railings "Inu-nii? What does Guy-san mean by Youth--" "You don't want to know" "But--" Kakashi grabbed Naruto's shoulders and gave him his most serious one eye stare "Naruto believe me you do not want to know, there is knowledge in this world that is best stayed buried"
Sweat dropping a bit Naruto nods and after that little episode they continue to his new apartment, as Kakashi opens the door and gives the keys to Naruto. Naruto in turn looks through the apartment and was happy to see that it was much better than his previous one, it had two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room, storage, kitchen, balcony and all amenities he would need.
"I'll leave you alone now but remember if you need anything just knock on my door, my own apartment is next door to yours. Take care Naruto" With a final eye smile Kakashi bids farewell and leaves closing the door behind him, while Naruto sits on the sofa.
'I bet this is a Shinobi apartment complex considering how Kakashi and Guy live here than that most likely means the Hokage is keeping me close to active Shinobi for my protection not that I mind considering I would rather have some shielding early on and well this place is much better than my old one'
'Huh only a day here and I'm already referring to myself as Naruto...No this is good the sooner I grow used to my new identity the better' Naruto looked at the calendar and saw that it was Saturday so the academy would be open again on monday. 'best I familiarize myself with my body and memories I gain in this period and after my well "first" day there I'll start making some outline of plans'.
Akatsuki, Madara, Zetsu, Kaguya, Ototsuki and who knows what else that wasn't shown in the series. Naruto slammed his head on the sofa and groaned. 'Damnit Kishimoto WHY couldn't you just stick with supernatural Ninjas!'
