Chapter 9: When we're their green werewolves?

『A/N: Your favorite author is back and let me tell the Hospital is horrifying alone at night』

...

"Alright mister cryptic what are we doing today?", Alicia asked as she wondered.

"Why you so eager I ain't skipping class", Zane said arms around Malia.

"You're not", Erica asked genuinely baffled.

"Yeah, Malia is too stupid I fear she will drop out", Zane said half-jokingly as Malia elbowed him.

"Ok so what about after school", Monica asked.

"Sure", Zane said.

"Yō guys", Boyd came running over.

"What's up?", Asha asked.

"There is a dead man on the buss", Boyd said.

"The driver right", Zane said calmly.

"Yeah, how did you know?", Boyd asked.

"I heard it happening in my sleep, was very annoying", Zane said.

"Why didn't you help?", Alicia asked.

Zane suddenly printed memories into their minds.

"Now you understand, so let's just go and enjoy our high school time", Zane said as he walked off with Malia.

"I'm not saying you shouldn't help, but too much interference in this world always leads to worse outcomes" Zane said.

A while later at Lunch time Zane encountered Scott and Stiles sitting at a table while Danny, Harley, Lydia and Jackson conversing.

"Seems we are in Episode 3 Pack Mentality", Zane thought.

"Are you biosex?", Malia asked hugging him from behind.

"WHat...No just pondered something", Zane answered.

"Just make sure it isn't no other girl", Malia said as her eyes shifted blue for a split second.

Zane smiled and walked away with her to the restroom.

*40 minutes later*

A while later they came out into the empty hallway smiling.

"I can't even handle your suppressed human state, I won't be much help in a fight", Malia said getting dejected.

"True, but I can upgrade your bloodline if you want", Zane whispered.

"Yes, but is there a cache?", Malia replied.

"Yes, the history will be tweaked to fit the Bloodlines", Zane said manifesting a screen only he and Malia could see.

[ Werecoyote + Spirit Lineage Hybrid]

History: Malia's mother (the Desert Wolf) had ties not just to coyotes but to desert spirits or nature deities — giving Malia a partial spirit shifter heritage.

Abilities to add:

Spirit Walk: Ability to phase into a spirit realm or sense spiritual energy (ghosts, banshees, druids).

Elemental Mirage: Create illusions or duplicates using sand, wind, or mirage effects.

Soul Sense: Detect emotional or supernatural disturbances across distance.

Ancestral Echo: When enraged or focused, desert spirits amplify her instincts and power.

Weakness / Cost:

Overuse drains physical body (spirit energy burns her human half).

Vulnerable when between worlds — spirits can influence her.

Lore tweak: The Desert Wolf wasn't fully werecoyote — she was part Nagual or Kitsune-like being, passing down a hybrid power to Malia.

[The Wild Bloodline (Primordial Shapeshifter)]

History: Her werecoyote gene traces back to the first shapeshifters — primal beings who could assume multiple animal forms before their descendants split into wolves, coyotes, etc.

Abilities to add:

Shapeshift Evolution: Malia can take on traits of other predators (bear claws, hawk vision, panther stealth).

Bestial Harmony: Communicate with and influence animals.

True Form: A massive hybrid "Primordial Beast" form, part-coyote, part-wolf, part-spirit.

Weakness/cost:

-there really isn't any other than imagination and strategic creativity

Lore tweak: The Desert Wolf's family may have forgotten that their lineage once guarded the boundary between human and beast.

[ The Eclipse Line (Celestial Bloodline)]

History: The Hales are tied to the moon, but what if Malia's line is also touched by the sun — making her an Eclipse Child, able to balance darkness and light energies?

Abilities to add:

Eclipse Aura: During lunar eclipses, she gains supernatural clarity and control; can suppress other shifters.

Solar Burn: Emits radiant energy for healing, illumination, or even searing attacks.

Lunar Focus: Her power peaks during lunar events; she can manipulate moonlight.

Dual Nature Mastery: Perfect control over her transformations, emotions, and instincts.

Weakness / Cost:

Solar or lunar eclipses trigger unpredictable surges.

The balance must be maintained — emotional instability can "eclipse" one side (causing loss of control or burnout).

Lore tweak: Born under an eclipse, Malia's spirit bridges the gap between werecreature and High keepers— the two halves of the supernatural balance.

_____

"While the Primordial Shifter is tempting, I don't have creativity or strategic ability to effectively use. Spirit Lineage is ok but I ain't one for spiritual stuff, so that leaves Eclipse which is strong and very fun sounding", Malia said.

Zane snapped his fingers as everything in a state of living froze in time as the World underwent a massive eclipse covering 2/3 of the Surface looking at the sun.

Malia's eyes glowed an intense neon purple as Light and Dark energies swirled around her and she began shifting into her coyote state, but it had changes such as streaks of black hair and small crown of white material growing from her head.

She levitated as energy pulsed around and from her.

"Come out and stop hiding", Zane said arms crossed as a tear in existence opened and out stepped Serena.

"At this point I might as well cleave this dimension from my connection", Serena said dejected.

Zane manifested a sword made from the absolute destruction.

"I don't mind helping you", Zane said eyes glowing white with such radiance that it illuminated the planet.

"Nah", Serena said disappearing in a flash.

Zane's eyes returned to normal as the sword dissolved and Malia began to descend, and the world returned back to its original state.

"I feel so strong", Malia said.

"You are now at the peak of Werecreatures due to your Guardian status", Zane said.

"So stronger than a dragon", Malia asked.

"No Dragons are Nigh immortal creatures that get stronger every century until they die, and higher is Arch Dragons which each embody a force of Nature making them a species that can never truly be surpassed unless your rate of growth higher than theirs as well as lifespan", Zane said.
