With Jaune being confused not knowing what was going on but then he heard a voice
[So much to-do,]

lighting the center of the pane glass he was freaking out a little but calmed down

As Soon as stepped forward a noise of something that sounded like something was rising
[Power sleeps within you]
and then turned to see three small pillars with things that were on top of them a shield with two yellow crescent moons,
[If you give it form]
a weird, shaped wand,
a sword that looked exactly like the one that's in his room but what is going on?
[It will give you strength]
[Choose well]
As Jaune walked to the sword and inspected it
[The Power of the warrior.]
[Invincible courage.]
[A sword of terrible destruction.]

"No, I'll see what my other options are" said Jaune not liking the sound of the sword so then he walks towards the shield and grabs It
[The power of the Guardian.]
[Kindness to aid friends.]
[A shield to repel all.]

Without a doubt in his mind
"Yes" he yelled as the Sheild disappeared from his hand

Jaune looked between the sword and wand which one was he supposed to choose after thinking it through for the long run he decided as he walked to the item of his choice

Jaune again with no doubt and a look of seriousness is adopted on his features
"Yes" he answered seriously as the staff disappeared from his hands

"Yes" as soon as he answered the stained-glass, the cracks were heard reaching towards him as they did the platform was destroyed
As he was falling for some unknown reason he wasn't scared, and he didn't know why as he was still falling but when he saw another glass-stained platform, but it was different it was that last one showed him with his brother (Sora) and with his friends that he mostly hangs out with, but this shows three kids that look a little older than he is,
A girl with red hair with a bronze looking tiara with green, emerald eyes and put on a soft smile but the eyes showed the true emotions of pain and loneliness
The next on was a boy 'he was sure that it was a boy' with an unreadable face with a single streak of pink down his hair and has pale pink eyes that said calmness and serenity but within them but underneath those eyes they held anger that could explode at any moment
The third was a ginger with turquoise eyes that had a full gigawatt smile that looks quite infectious
And Jaune could feel himself smiling cause of the ginger haired girl
When he landed
[you've gained the power to fight]
the shield appeared in his hands but not just that there was a handle on top of the shield that was sticking out he grabbed the handle and then pulled it out and was shocked to see that the sword is also with it and the shield woks as a sheath as well maybe he should check his sword back at home to check if it can turn to a shield or something as he threw a few swings he heard the voice again
[All right! you got it]
[Use this power to protect yourself and others]
Then shadows were emerging from the ground
[They'll be times you'll have to fight]
As the shadowy figures fully emerged and the voice said one more thing before it went silent
[keep your light burning bright]
As the shadowy figures jumped towards Jaune dodged and instantly attacked back the weird shadowy things it staggered back it looks a bit angry and again they tried to attack but Jaune was faster and swung the sword and killed the shadow creature and that caused all of them to turn to shadows and run away
But then one tried to sneak up behind our hero but
[Behind you!]
Then the blonde quickly turned around and focused on the thing that tried attacking him by the back and his friends were back for more but after beating the weird freaks they were turning into pools of black as they were forming everywhere on the platform that it took no time at all to surround our blond hero and when they did get to him he slowly sinking down the inky black liquid and was freaking out and was instinctively trying to reach out for anything to keep him up from the dark pool of liquid
He then woke up again on another platform and as same as the last two this one had a different pattern as well but unlike the other two this one showed 4 different female silhouettes with a sort of logo in there one had a flower in their hands, the other had what looked like the sun, the next on had a leaf, strange... but oh well and the third one had a snowflake
But then sees a door that is see through so went to it and tried to open it, but it didn't budge open when turning around a chest was there, but it wasn't there before but either way went to it and tapped it twice with the sword and it opened with a bottle of green liquid inside it when turning around he sees that a crate was blocking the door he went towards it and pushed it out of the way and turned around and it reappeared he raised an eyebrow but again he pushed it out of the way and just in case he destroyed the wooden crate so it won't reappear and it dropped a potion so that's a bonus,
then turns to see a wooden barrel he just stared at it then looked at the door going back and forth between the two then decided to destroy the barrel and the door was now interactable as he went to the door was opening and light was seeping out from the other side of the door while being drawn in by the light as he went through the door he appeared Infront of what seems to be in a forest area
[Hold on]
[The door isn't open yet]
and in front of him was a dirt path leading him what seems to be the way out
[First, tell me about yourself]
As confused as he is, he walks down the dirt path, he then walked past a tree with a man with black hair sitting on a branch and was looking off to the distance Jaune didn't think much of it and went up to him hopefully asking if the stranger knows what's going on even if his adoptive parents told him of stranger danger but this was an exception for he didn't know what he's doing here and a little bit of knowledge on his situation wouldn't kill anyone
"Um hello?" said the blond boy hoping for the man to be kind
"What's most important to you?" asked the man without looking at him
"Huh?" was the only thing Jaune could say for him being confused for he didn't expect the man to ask such a question
"What's most important to you?" asked the man again this time looking at Jaune while folding his arms and notices that has yellow eyes with slits like a cat, but Jaune was thinking about the question he was asked by the man
'What's important to me' he repeated to himself and answered confidently "My friends and family"
"Are friends and family such a big deal?" answered the man in a way that made him sound like it was genuine curiosity
But before Jaune could answer
"RRROOOOOAAAAARRR"
he heard a roar of a monster in the distance and turned with sword ready for any attack to come his way but non came his way when he turned around to warn the man of possible danger, but he saw that no one was there on the branch where the cat eye man was
But continued walking the dirt road and for some reason a thought was plaguing his mind
'Did we meet before?' because he was sure that he met the man somewhere but that's not possible because he would remember someone with unique eyes such as the man that he met in this weird lucid dream he's having right now
But decided to not dwell on it too much besides he must've seen him from somewhere when he was younger but doesn't remember and was just exploring his subconscious some...how "this just keeps getting weirder and weirder" he muttered to himself
When he was walking in the corner of his eye he saw someone siting down in front of a pond with a tree in the center of said pond
so he walked towards the figure and this time it was a man with long blond hair, Jaune then began walking up to the man and as he was right behind him, and the man spoke to while not turning to him
"What is it that you are most afraid of?" asked the blond man
This time Jaune wasn't as confused but still thought it was weird but thought on what the man asked him but now sitting back-to-back while the man waits for his answer
'What scares me the most?... being forgotten can be scary because in a way you won't be able to see the people you care about, and you will only be treated as nothing but a stranger and will probably end up all alone at the end but... that isn't my biggest fear, is it?'
"It's... it's not being there for the people dear to me when I'm needed most" he hesitantly answered honestly
"Is it really that scary to not be there when needed most" the man asked
Jaune was little offended at what the man asked but then
"RRRROOOOOAAAAARRRR"
Jaune heard the roar of the monster but this time it was closer than before he turned to tell the man that they should leave this place for whatever that was but just like the other guy the man disappeared, but Jaune did not want to stay and meet the thing that can make that sound so this time he was running down the dirt path for the way out and this time he was in front of a stone slab what looks to be a grave on the edge of the cliff
when he looks back he sees a beautiful red forest and heard someone walking and turns around and sees someone with white cape and hood but can't see their face
"What is it that you want out of life?" asked the mystery person, Jaune wasn't alarmed but answer truthfully "I want to broaden my horizons"
And then the voice came back
[You want friendship and family]
[You are afraid of not being there when needed most]
[You want to broaden your horizons]
[Your adventure shall begin in two days in midday]
[Keep a steady pace with your head held high and you shall come through just fine]
With shaking his head in understanding
ROOOOOAAAAAR
The roar was heard again and seemingly super close but luckily, he was somewhere else and standing on top of another pane glass that shows a girl with black hair with a bow on top of her head and has amber eyes and they look exactly like the man in the forest but then he noticed that she had a sad look on her with Her eyes showing regret and loss
Then another shadow appeared in the floor, but this time it was different cause Jaune was prepared when the shadows appeared held both sword and shield tight and ready for fighting these guys and when that one shadow went to attack Jaune move to the side and strikes quickly and instantly kills it
"Heh is that all you got" said Jaune in a cocky tone and if answering his question more shadows appeared surrounding him and that cocky look disappeared from his face and replaced with a sweat drop "Me and my big mouth" was the only thing he could say before all jumped towards him, on quick thinking, he jumped over most of them as Jaune blocked an attack from one that was able to time him jumping somehow by luck or chance or maybe... before he could think any further three shadows attacked him at the same time and did a horizontal slash which he got two of the three and quickly jumped out of the way and slashed the some shadows while doing so when landing quickly he pushed kicked one shadow back and it was able to push others back while disappearing as well in the process and he kept doing this after a while
After finally defeating the final shadow Jaune finally took a deep breath catching his breath and Jaune looks at himself and seems that the shadow got a few hits in nothing too bad the parts that they hit him were only swelled up but nothing a good rest can't help with
But then another ray of light shines through the darkness and it emits a green circle on the floor that looks like it is made of... light? That was strange, but curiosity overtook his mind and he decided to stand in the circle and what it was doing surprised Jaune it was healing him! …well, that was something and then Infront of him staircases showed themselves going up
And since there's no other choice but going forward, he walked up the stairs while not noticing that behind him the stairs were disappearing for no way for him to leave or return
And then he stood on another pane glass with another person being shown, and she looks like an angle to be honest and the way her looks white as snow and her eyes blue with lighter shade than his and in her eyes, he sees pain, sadness, loneliness, and it felt like it didn't suit her and then a bright light presents itself and Jaune was mesmerized by the graceful alluring light and kept getting closer to the light
But then the came back once more
[The closer you get to the light]
[The greater your shadow will become]
After hearing his words, he turned to see his shadow has enormously grown and bright yellow eyes look back at him that sent a shiver down his spine and instinctively took a step back
As the large shadow started to surface and caused Jaune to instinctively run away but there was nowhere to run
[But don't be afraid]
[and don't forget...]
When Jaune skidded to a halt at the edge of the platform he didn't know what else to do but the only thing he can do was to face the large shadow
As he turned around and saw the same yellow eyes looking deep within his soul, he could feel himself shaking with fear but still was ready to fight it
As the shadow threw a punch where Jaune was but was able to dodge and quickly went to attack the hand but then noticed the floor was filled with darkness and shadows were rising from the ground but Jaune didn't let up he kept his attack on the weak spot but when the Darkside moved its arm back and crosses its arms while Jaune is trying to dodge, counter anything to get out of the situation with the many shadows and when he glanced at Darkside and panic was sent to his heart because what he saw was dark orbs were shot at the sky and falling in speed that would terrify the regular person but quickly calming himself and while dodging he was able to get a couple of good hits that hurt Darkside but when being occupied with the shadows surrounding him he got an hit by an uppercut and got sent high up in the air,
disorientated but quickly shook it off and looked around and saw both sword and shield just out of reach and can only grab one in time and he looks down he saw Darkside readying another punch, Jaune without a thought reached for one of the two weapons and as he grabbed one on instinct without looking while falling,
Darkside threw the punch and Jaune used the shield to dodge and slide on top of the hand,
while on Darksides arm shadows popped up Jaune used the shield to hit them out of his way when he was at the shoulder the other arm was close to squash him but as if by something guiding him he was able to get out of the way and was able to turn the shield back to its scabbard form and stab it in one of Darksides eyes
ROOOOOOAAAAAAR
As Darkside screams in pain Jaune was thrown next to where the sword was at, so he picks himself up and readies himself for another fight as Darkside was looming over with a lost eye but it didn't do anything but a flash of light and both the sword and shield were gone in that instance Jaune was caught by the dark puddle as it started to pull him down and he was struggling on getting out
[Don't be afraid]
[You hold one of the mightiest weapons of all]
As Jaune noticed that the darkness was slowly surrounding him as hands were holding onto him

As one eye looks At Darkside it then went dark (pun not intended)
