As Orion thought about the events that were currently taking place he decided to assess his new skills.

This skill is a genetic condition in which a person is born with extremely dense muscle fibres.It grants superhuman strengh to those who possess it.The current level of the skill increases the strengh stat by a factor of 2.5 times.
(cannabilism level 1)
This active skill takes place when consuming living or unliving creatures and allows the user to gain stats,skills and spells by consuming flesh.
Orion was rather pleased with his new skills and was especially happy with the cannabilism skill which would enable him to gain stats aside from evolving or leveling up.

Orion was further pleased with his mana capacity which had increased by slightly more then 20 times.He still didn't know how it compared to other mages but he felt he would stand a better chance against that fire mage now.
Orion immediately tried to rip off his shackles but it was to no avail as the shackles held firm.The necromancers noticed this and decided to leave to join the battle.
"His not going anywhere and we should help defend this place.Lets go now."said one of the necromancers as they began to leave.

Kerry only had 60% of his mana remaining and his mana capacity was continuously being used more and more as he tried to damage the darkness wrym even more whilst defending from its attacks.
The darkness wrym was fighting back by breathing corrosive dark smoke which Kerry was defending himself against by blowing it away with the wind element.Kerry also had to do this to defend Terry from the corrosive dark smoke.
The darkness wrym saw that its corrosive dark smoke wasn't working so it stopped using it.It began to try a different tactic.Its dark scales began to glow black and radiated darkness.It then pointed its maw full of rotating rows of teeth at Kerry who immediately ran around trying to avoid being targeted.
The reason why Kerry and Terry stopped attacking with magic was that it seemed as though their attacks had stopped working temporarily as it no longer did damage to the darkness wrym.
Suddenly a massive dark beam shot out of the darkness wryms maw and corroded the ground.The darkness wrym had clearly stopped attacking to absorb mana and light energy to convert it into darkness and perform a more powerful concentrated attack.
The darkness wrym seemed to be going wild as its maw moved and pointed everywhere.The dark beam instantly corroded everything in its way and seemed to taint the very ground and surroundings itself as regular plants would no longer grow in the affected areas.The surviving plants tainted with darkness would become abnormal.
Kerry and Terry ran around and found some cover behind the castle wall whilst looking over to see if the darkness wryms attack was approaching them or not.This was due to the fact that the castle wall wouldn't be enough to defend against the darkness wryms dark beam.
The beam was even pointed to the edges of the castle at times which caused some destruction in the castle and damaged its integrity.
Kerry and Terry were then joined by Derris Novero who was also running from the attack.
"We need to find a way to put that thing down permanently or we won't survive this."said Kerry as he kept his sword ready for any possible opportunity.
"I think I might have a solution."said Derris Novero as he reached into his bag.
"This isn't a situation you can brute force and you can barely use mana but we're desperate right now so what's your idea."Terry was about to reprimand Derris but they were in a desperate situation so he decided to listen to Derris's idea.
Derris immediately pulled out a circular device from his bag.It was circular and had two handle bars.There was a hole in the middle of the circular part.
"I'll pour my massive amount of mana into this and shoot it towards the darkness wrym."It was a simplistic idea but Kerry and Terry agreed immediately once they saw the darkness wrym heading towards them.
Derris immediately poured his mana into the device and pointed the centre towards the incoming darkness wrym.The device glowed brightly as it filled with pure mana.
As the darkness wrym was about to make contact a massive beam of pure,white magical energy shot out of the device and hit the darkness wrym.
The beam buried into the darkness wrym and divided it into two parts whilst also destroying the regenerator organ inside of its body.
The darkness wrym was now dead.
