Chapter 1046 - Chapter 1046: Return, Beginnings, and a New World

Standing amidst the Star Armor World, Muria's true form exuded an overwhelming presence, causing the surrounding rules of the world to ripple and shift. Within his brilliant golden eyes, countless flickering images played out—scenes of his martial avatars interacting with those he had chosen to leave behind.

The departure of a single individual can have a profound impact on the lives of those around them, altering their trajectories forever. And for someone like Muria, whose influence spanned the world, his sudden departure could have caused monumental upheavals.

To mitigate this, he had been meticulous in his planning. Utilizing the unique qualities of the avatars he had cultivated, he ensured his departure would have the smallest possible ripple effect on those he left behind.

"It's about time," Muria murmured as the light in his eyes dimmed. He gazed down at the diminished cloud sea below, now significantly smaller than before. A faint smile played on his lips as he regarded the energy he had expended in creating the avatars. It mattered little to him—his reserves were vast.

As he looked on, the cloud sea began to churn and rise, slowly coalescing into the form of an imposing, high-crowned Emperor, whose sheer majesty seemed capable of swallowing rivers and mountains. The colossal figure, standing tall and grand, was equal in size and grandeur to Muria's true form.

Muria and his Emperor Avatar locked eyes briefly before stepping toward each other. The two figures merged seamlessly, the avatar dissolving into a swirling white mist that was absorbed back into Muria's body.

Behind Muria, a glowing platinum light briefly flickered, hinting at the emergence of something extraordinary. However, the glow quickly dissipated without fully materializing, leaving no trace of the world's unique law-based avatars.

"It's time to go. We can't stay here any longer," the Golden Dragon Lady said, breaking the silence. She had already gathered the entire Descended Species into her fold and now urged her family to move. "If we stay, the world will begin to expel us."

With no objections, the three members of the family rose swiftly toward the world's barrier.

Breaking through the barrier was surprisingly easy for them. For foreign invaders like Void Evil Gods, breaching the barrier of a world required the power to destroy the world in an instant. Otherwise, it was impossible to enter.

But for Muria and his family, the world held no such hostility. On the contrary, their contributions to the world had earned its goodwill, allowing them to pass through its barrier effortlessly.

"Time to settle accounts," Anselor, who had been silent until now, spoke as they floated in the vast void beyond the world. Extending his hand toward the Star Armor World, he initiated the process.

Muria watched as a now-familiar sight unfolded: the world began to tremble, and countless streams of radiant energy rose from its surface, converging toward them.

However, this time was different. The streams of energy were far more numerous and intense than what Muria had seen in previous worlds. The scale of this world was far greater, and its reserves of power far deeper.

Their contributions had also been extraordinary. By uniting humanity and resolving countless conflicts, they had drastically reduced the world's losses, earning themselves an even greater reward.

Moments later, three orbs of pure Source Energy—two large and one small—hovered before the family.

"This world is…" The Golden Dragon Lady glanced at the smallest orb before her, then at the world below. A hint of disdain flickered in her eyes.

"Don't complain," Muria said, smirking at her dissatisfaction. "You left behind a divine avatar in this world. You've already reaped substantial benefits."

"If you had relinquished that divine avatar, the Source Energy you'd receive would surpass ours," Anselor added calmly, glancing at his companion.

"I'm not stupid. Why would I give it up?" The Golden Dragon Lady rolled her eyes, firmly rejecting the suggestion. Only a fool would trade a divine avatar for less than one unit of Source Energy.

"Then stop whining," Anselor said matter-of-factly as he grasped the orb of energy before him.

"Dragons and their endless greed," Muria muttered, rolling his eyes at his mother's insatiable nature. In truth, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy. Even in a medium-sized world, securing a divine avatar was an exceptional stroke of fortune.

"Let's go home!" The Golden Dragon Lady cheered, her earlier displeasure evaporating. She reached out to establish a connection with the Void marvel jointly constructed by the three great races—the Hall of Transdimensional Transmission.

A massive void vortex formed before them. One by one, the family stepped into it, returning to the colossal metal continent hovering above the world of Erathia.

"Mikaela!"

Upon their return, Muria's gaze was immediately drawn to a majestic floating city near the Hall of Transdimensional Transmission. Recognizing the familiar aura emanating from it, Muria's face lit up with joy. Without a second thought, he abandoned his parents and flew toward the city.

"Lord Muria," the angels within the city bowed deeply as he entered, offering him the utmost respect befitting a being of his stature—an existence on par with the gods.

"You've finally returned." In the central courtyard of the city, a Seraph with a calm demeanor greeted him. She stood alongside three tall, graceful girls, all of whom bore striking resemblances to Muria.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Muria immediately sensed that Mikaela, his wife, had reached the pinnacle of Legend at least three decades ago. Guilt flickered across his face.

For most Legends, thirty years was a blink of an eye, but for Mikaela—who was eager to enter the Void and ascend to Epic—the wait had been agonizing.

"Now that you're back, let's leave," Mikaela said impatiently after exchanging just a few words. If not for waiting for Muria, she would have departed long ago.

"Ahem, let me spend a little time with our daughters first. It's been decades since I last saw them," Muria said, coughing awkwardly. "At least give me a moment to talk to them before we leave."

"Fine," Mikaela relented, glancing at their daughters, who were clearly eager to speak with their father. "But don't take too long."

Under Mikaela's watchful gaze, Muria exchanged only a few words with his now-grown daughters. He didn't even make time to speak with his eldest son before hurriedly accompanying her back to the Hall of Transdimensional Transmission.

Encased in a magnificent column of energy, the couple was launched into the Void, hurtling toward an unknown cluster of worlds.

When Muria opened his eyes again, they met the gaze of a dignified man with an air of authority. The man's face, though weary, betrayed no emotion as he scrutinized the infant Muria.

"A ruler accustomed to power," Muria thought, sizing up the man. Given his current state as a newborn, the man likely shared a close blood relationship with him.

The man observed him for a few moments before nodding and leaving the room without a word, his expression unchanged.

As soon as he left, the room erupted with hushed cheers. Several women, likely servants, approached Muria to cleanse him of the blood from his birth.

Submerged in a pool of medicinal water, Muria fell into deep thought. Just as he had scrutinized the man earlier, he now pondered his own situation. What kind of being had he reincarnated as this time?

The man's features were largely human, but there were subtle differences. Small, shallow horns adorned his forehead, and faint luminous patterns traced his skin. Beyond that, he appeared almost human.

"So, I've reincarnated into a humanoid race again. At least I'm not some kind of monster," Muria mused, feeling slightly relieved.

Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, Mikaela faced a far grimmer situation. As a newborn, she found herself in the middle of an assassination attempt.

Monstrous beings had stormed the birthing chamber, clearly intent on ending her life. Fortunately, a group of humanoid warriors was present to defend her, engaging the attackers in a fierce battle.

Helpless in her frail infant form, Mikaela could only watch as chaos unfolded around her, powerless to intervene. The frustration of being so vulnerable gnawed at her—a stark contrast to her usual strength.

Inside her tiny heart, her true self stirred. Crimson eyes flared open within the depths of her consciousness, blazing with divine fire. In her hand, a droplet of radiant liquid, shimmering with infinite possibilities, began to materialize.

"Do I really have to use it?" she thought, reluctantly preparing to intervene in the dire situation.
