Several stunning women dressed in cheongsams leaned close, whispering sweetly in my ear.
Their alluring breath saturated the entire room.
My body trembled slightly, and the women stumbled back a few paces.
"Lord Eve, this isn't necessary. Have them leave first," I said with no expression.
Aiden Eve looked puzzled, "What's wrong, don't you enjoy it, Mr. Raymond? Should I bring in a different group?"
"That's not needed." I walked directly to the table and took a seat.
Seeing this, Aiden Eve chose not to push the matter further.
He filled a wine glass for me and chuckled, "Mr. Raymond, we clashed before we knew each other properly. Here's to you. I hope we can be friends moving forward!"
I lifted the wine glass and drained it completely.
After the drink, Aiden Eve asked eagerly, "Mr. Raymond, did you bring the ring?"
"Naturally," I replied with a smile.
