At this point, Aiden Eve's expression softened a bit.
"Looking at Mason Raymond's behavior, he probably hasn't figured out what's hidden in that ring. That's lucky for us," Aiden Eve muttered.
But Vivi Eve looked worried. "What if he discovers it in the next couple days? That guy with the mustache who's always with him seems to know stuff."
Aiden Eve's face darkened at those words.
His brow creased deep, worry flooding his features.
"If this goes south, maybe we could get the Capital City Martial Arts Association to lean on him?" Vivi Eve suggested.
Aiden Eve shook his head, his voice cold. "Already tried that. The people at the Capital City Martial Arts Association told me Mason Raymond just brushed them off."
"Dad, what do we do now?" Vivi Eve asked, anxiety written all over his face.
Aiden Eve let out a heavy sigh. "We'll have to play it by ear."
