Running up to hug her Aunt tightly. It was hard to look at each other for them sometimes when they both looked so much like Emerie. "When did you get here?" "Really that's the first question you're going with. Save it. I already know everything. I do mean every last detail." She warned placing her palm up for Ana to listen. "Quinn didn't call me. Phoenix did." Look of shock spread through Quinn, Ana and Echo. "I'm glad someone has enough love and respect for this old woman to fill her in on the truth about her kids. You know you're the only reason I have for breathing." She glared and Quinn and Analeigh. "I want you both to know." She paused for a moment with a deep breath.
"I'm sorry. I should have come clean about all of this sooner and maybe than it might have been able to help you guys somewhere along the way. I swear I had no idea they were still staying on the planet or else I would have taken them with me. I guess everything happens for a reason though. Maybe they stayed here because they were always meant to find you Analeigh. I know you did the one thing your mom and I just couldn't seem to do. Of course you didn't have Ellie and her minions interfering in your work and screwing up your experiments. That being said I am still angry at you for not telling me anything at all. Analeigh told him in an aggravated at the situation tone.
"Did he admit it?" Quinn asked softly. "He did. He admitted everything there is no secrets with him anymore. I drugged him and went through his memories. There is just no coming back from this for me. Not after our conversation. Of course he has a different opinion and no matter how right he is about certain things. I just will never get past it. I don't believe I should have to either. If I call it off for this who knows what dad would do next. He isn't exactly in the right frame of mind either lately." She told them as they nodded softly in agreement. "Not only that he found the jeep and has sent out his black listed soldiers on a few secret missions. He might just be looking for clues. He is looking around where Ellie took her crazy plan and shot us. I'm worried he's going to find some of the D'marlian prints." Quinn told them as Echo and Phoenix looked at each other with a heated glare.
"What is it?" Paige asked them. "Well we went and cleaned up our tracks before we left. We snuck out last night and found some of Darious trackers tracks. I fear they are doing it on purpose. I think they want your dad to find something and I think since they have yet to intercept you. Maybe they think to either lure you out or just finally set war upon your dad. I don't think that they know how deep our connection is. But words spread fast on our planet who knows if they even know anything. My brothers trying to keep it under wraps as long as possible." Nix told her not breaking eye contact.
"Ok. What we need is a few plans in motions here. So let's get started. We are still set up to leave Friday right just a few days from now." "Mom are you coming with us?" Quinn asked out of nowhere. "No. I'm staying here. You guys will need some kind of cover when you leave and I have nothing waiting for me there anymore. I can't go there without Rydin. I can torture myself here about all that just fine. I want you to go Quinn. I need you to go with her. I need you two to finish everything we never could see through. You need to make sure you take your rightful place and make him proud." Paige added to Phoenix.
"Alright. Well we both have Friday off all day so you two just meet us over here this is the only safe place left high enough in the mountain that won't raise suspicion." Analiegh told them. "It's literally a huge ass cliff." Echo said in surprise. "Yup." "So your idea is to get picked up in a place that could leave all of us if trapped in a rock and cliff?" Quinn sarcastically laughed. "Yup. This will be finally finished once and for all. One way or the other. I'm done running from my dad and we are running out of time. Melana HAS to get home soon that baby won't wait and waiting anymore may harm the baby she shouldn't be traveling like this this far along." Looking around they were getting nervous now that truth was really out there.
"If for any reason Darious men get here before Friday we need to have a small army. It's time to finally bring in group." Paige said. "What group?" "What small army?" Ana and Quinn asked out loud. "I have a small army of my own. Everyone who is against your father has gathered and all of them are supporting the D'marlians and most of them always have. The missing researchers were never missing they went underground. Living peaceful and happy lives. I've called them and we are ready they have set up camps in some old tunnels and can come above ground and fight in less than 15 minutes." "Seriously?" Echo asked. "Yes. "Alright well are any of them still in the lab?" Nix asked her. "Yes over half the lab is in on it. Very tight lipped How else do you think I have kept such accurate tabs on all of you including your fathers work lately which is bringing even more into question of the line of humanity and the brink of monster. Morbid curiosity I am afraid has killed your fathers humanity. It died the same day my sister did." Paige added. "What's with the look Nix. You keep staring at her like-." Paige stopped and saw an odd thing at the corner of the armor. Pulling it over she saw it. Eyes lit up in acknowledgement. Quickly pulling Ana's shirt slightly down so her black spaghetti strapped under shirt was now showing with part of the imprint tattoo.
"OH. MY. GOD! You could tell me everything but left THIS OUT?! THIS IS MY NIECE PHOENIX!" Paige roared. "Calm down Paige. It just happened. We didn't know it was going to happen." "BULL SHIT! This doesn't just happen Nix this happens over period of time connecting with someone. BOTH of you had to be on some type of same page for this to just happen. WHEN?!" Paige asked in an angry tone. "When Ellie was shooting at us and she was dangling from the tree asking me to leave her and run with Echo. I couldn't do it. I couldn't leave her. I never would even if I could." He told her honestly. "Than the glow right? It seems you higher power officials have an act for perfect timing don't you. He kills us, your dad and gets to take you back torture you just enough to keep bleeding you dry and be the hero who got revenge for your fathers murderous genocide upon our species and brought back reproduction for our species to have a better future ow that there will still a future to be had." Phoenix told them running a hand down his face.
"Do you think we should just lure Darious out here than and try to get the job done silently ourselves? Maybe we can have Gabrielle take them out for us and then a few days later make a break for it they would be busy with handling the evil D'marlians that they wouldn't even notice. That way your dad has what he is looking for which is our bait and we get what we want which is out of here?" Quinn asked out of general curiosity. "Why do I feel like I just heard that out of Eddies mouth." Echo asked. "Seriously you want to bait out D'marlians who are mad at my dad for doing the evils he did. By giving them to my dad? When in fact combined with your brother we could take both enemies down and finally take back control of planet and governments in the right way. I won't do it. Once you guys leave millions of other humans still have to live here. How long do you think we can go under this dictator if he won over Darius. "Well bad new travels just as fast as good news if not sooner. I heard of Ellies' unfortunate and sudden passing so I came to pay respect we both know how little to no family she actually had so I thought I'd offer up some services. I know we didn't exactly get on together but I never wished anything like this upon her either." She said in a remorseful tone. "Yeah I know Paige. I can honestly say no one saw anything like this coming with Ellie." They all knew he meant that too. The sympathy though that would be harder to tell if it was truly sincere or not. He was just so good with words and saying what he needed to get his way.
"Well yeah I could use all the help I can get it. You know from people who knew her. We are going to throw a memorial service for her here. You can go up to Dennis office his secretary has a list of everything that will happen so you can just go on up there and see what's left. Quinn go on and take your mom up there." Ana asked her dad who stood in front of her rubbing the back of his head. "I was thinking Friday most people are off so it wouldn't be taking out of anyone real time. Saturday or Sunday maybe?" He said in a light tone as he was thinking. "Saturday. It would be good to do it Saturday. Like you said most people are off Friday so they could all set up Friday for Saturday morning like brunch time service. Café could actually hold brunch for the staff." Gabe looked at her with a big smile.
"That actually sounds great. I'm going to go my office and email the coordinator that. We can get it catered. That's my girl always my little genius." He said rubbing the top of her head walking off proudly typing on his phone. She ignored the wanting of rubbing her head in disgust. My life couldn't possibly get more twisted. Sighing to her self she walked back down to the lab. Entering the doors. Echo was still sending messages to the ship and checking over data. Nix was going through the small sample bottles of the cure they were taking with them making sure they were in small containers that they could take with them along with USB flash drives and notes so nothing valuable would be left behind for Gaberiel to get ahold of.
"There isn't much to delete now. At least dad won't be getting this research God only knows how he would tamper with it to torture you guys even more then he already has. I'll never be able to apologize enough to an entire species for what he has down to you. I can't even begin to hide the shame of my father the Alien Hitler." She told him running her hands through face for a second before crossing them. Pulling her by the hands softly to him. "It's not your fault. You weren't even around. The only blame you should ever have to own up to is to your reaction to the said action. And I mean look at what miracle you did and created. Literally from your own blood, sweat and tears."

That would take a long time to get used to. It almost bothered her in a small way until she can get used to it she was stuck wondering if the feelings she would feel in certain moments really her own. Would any emotion truly be her own anymore? "How can you really say that. I mean you are bringing home the girl whose father was whacking y'all off in the most atrocious ways known to man. I mean you don't feel ashamed for that. What if your people look down on you. Maybe Darious has a point when it comes to me." "NO! Darious is just as big of a monster as your father. That thing sacrifices his own people for his own personal gain yet still has the gall to say he is doing everything for our people while just doing everything for his own selfish conquests. He is power hungry and couldn't care less of the lives of our people. Neither one truly cares about life in the end Ana. It seems like it's just a big game to them." Shaking his head softly before looking back to her.
"It seems both of our race has monsters of all kinds. The only thing is unlike you, the humans our monster is not running our planet. While your father is. Humans do have it worse right now in that way. I understand though leaving him in power when it's his resources that is keeping your race alive. Mainly your mothers work but she no longer can help in that area." Taking an awkward gulp nervous now. "When this is all over and let's say your dad doesn't make it. What happens then? Will you be able to still come to me knowing the people will most likely be looking to you and this institute for leadership just to have it magically be gone. Not even a body left behind. Are you really ok with leaving here should anything happen to your dad and they start turning to you for answers? Will you resent me or our people in time?"
Looking at him for a moment it was hard to answer in a way with the right words. "You don't have to be so nervous. It's not like I haven't gone through all these scenarios in different ways like hundreds of times already. You know at first I thought I was being selfish in living. Then I thought hell we humans put ourselves in this mess to begin with there is only so much I can do for so long anyway. I also thought who the hell am I to step up as a leader here I never wanted to be here in the first place. I am neither my parents how can I fill such big shoes I am in no way ready. Then I think back to all I've accomplished in such a short time here and think hell I got this. I can do this. I could take over this and make it 10 times better than my parents ever thought about and different and more positive ways to change this place for the better and it could work I could make this place something I could really be proud of. Then it all comes down to a few heart breaking realities." Taking a deep breath looking in his eyes.
"I don't really belong here. Nothing I do is going to make me feel like this is where I am really supposed to be. I just don't belong here and neither do you. We are both meant for other things and we are not going to get them done here. Also if I was to stay to make this world better I most likely would be stuck with Jaxon and I don't think I could ever do that now. He is a genius and could really do so much good but our past the way our story truly turned out so far I cant do it. It would cause so many problems and the last thing this place needs is a division of power. Even if it's same dreams the way of getting to those dreams may be very different. I still may be selfish for leaving but I know everything will be alright here and things will work themselves out. I mean Hell they most likely will turn to Aunt Paige. I always felt Asher would make for a great leader here. " She said staring off wondering in her thoughts.
Pulling her close to him by her hips and a smile. "I think you're right. Hate to admit Jaxon would be good among the leaders he's made so many bad decisions in the past. But living in the remorse and pain he built up for himself he may now be ready to make the right ones if your dad wasn't in the equation. Think of how many more amazing things could make this world better if they weren't being squished under his rule. Honestly. You're dad id nothing but a man whose power is built and based on fear. Makes you wonder in battle will people's hope and fight for the righteous actually beat out his power and fear. I guess we might find out." Nix said sadly.
Echo came up to them. "Ok we are good to go. Everything is set. UH… Nix it turns out your fleet is already been here in stealth mode?" Echo said scratching his head. "How many?" Nix asked standing up in a raised voice. "About little over half." Echo said closing his eyes tight. "A LITTLE OVER HALF?! UNDER WHOSE COMMAND DID THE GET TO COMEALL THE WAY HERE?!" Nix roared in a growl. "Your brother agreed to their request apparently you went longer then said time and they were getting antsy about you and your siblings so they took upon themselves to bring up the old protocol. So…. Yup by all proper chain of commands they are in the right and they are literally right outside." Echo said in amused tone wiggling his finger pointing up to the sky. Nix closed his eyes and growled.
"Do they no about her? Or her status?" Nix asked holding her hand softly to help calm him down. "Yup they even have plans to help the welcome home party for you both to make you both feel welcomed. They are super excited for you boss. Honestly you scored major points they said you must have saved the galaxy if you can be mated to the planets saint and savior. Honestly speaking Ana love you are so much higher ranked then any of these guys right now. You are like Super Saint status. No pressure or anything though?" Echo said waving his hands up after that looking at her widen eyes. Looking at both of them now her heart started to race.
"Just how far does my Saint savior status go from here? I don't know how to be a Saint. I-I swear like a sailor and I've hurt A LOT of people in different species Saints don't do that." She was starting to panic a bit until Nix came and hugged her sweetly from behind. "Breathe little one. It's alright.
