MC POV - 1-A Prep Room for Festival (is a real thing in canon)
Bakugou is complaining about not being able to wear his costume while many of us sit at the table in the center of the room.
The room is spacious and has many tables for everyone to sit at, not to big though, each table can hold about eight people if you want to move the chairs.
As we're all sitting there Todoroki gives Izuku a 'declaration of war' as Kaminari calls it.
"- and you Y/n", I tilt my head away from petting Kuro, who is sitting on my lap, to see Todoroki's ice cold glare.
"This time it will be different", I turn my head back to Kuro petting behind her ears as she lays as if staring into the infinite abyss of the universe... or nothing at all.
"Wanna know what else is different, 2 x 2 and -2 x -2 and yet they both still equal four don't they, just prove it on the field".
I lean back a bit feeling his eyes burn into me as I call up my Status Window to see where I am currently.

Other than these stats nothing has changed much, after getting the ability to touch upon another beings gravity or just gravity in general at far ranges I immediately hit Mid-Advanced but my overall move set hasn't changed.
From the stadium Present Mic's voice rings out as well prepare ourselves to walk out.
"IT'S UA'S SPORT FESTIVAL!!! ONE TIME EACH YEAR WHERE OUR FELDGLING HEROES GET TO PARTAKE IN A RUTHLESS BATTLE! FIRST UP, YOU ALL KNOW WHO I'M TALKING ABOUT, THE RISING STARS WHO BRUSHED OFF A VILLAIN ATTACK, THE FIRST YEARS OF THE HERO COURSE: 1-A!", hearing our announcement we all walk on stage Kirishima looking a bit nervous after hearing Present Mic's praise.
"FOLLOWING THEIR ARRIVAL IS CLASS B, AS WELL AS C, D, AND E OF THE GENERAL STUDIES, AND HERE COME THE SUPPORT COURSE CLASSES F, G, AND H! AND THE BUSINNES-", we all stand there as he continues listing out the classes.
I notice Midoriya shaking in his spot, a bunch of sweat on his face, "Wow... what a crowd".
"Of course there is a crowd, they want people to come see this not only for entertainment but to also show us heroes what we're gonna need to face in the future, the people.", Midoriya nods at my explanation, instead of trying to make himself smaller like he used to he simply stands up a bit straighter with more confidence than in the past.
A loud crack silences everyone as Midnight draws the attention of both students and those in the crowds.
"Now for the athlete's oath!", her ever present smile rest on her face as she brings her whip to her side.
A bunch of people murmuring both in the stands and amongst students, some questioning her appearance in a festival like this.
Tokoyami makes a comment questioning if she should even be in a High School.
Hearing him Midnight tells him to shut it and continues on, "Pipe down! Your student representative is... From class 1-A, Y/n Neo Sekai."
'Well I did place first place so I guess it makes sense but an Athlete's Oath', I slowly walk towards the stand.
'The Athlete's Oath is an oath taken before the start of an Olympics of any sort, it's normally supposed to be an oath everyone will honorably follow that still applies to everyone, I believe Bakugou just said he would win right? Guess it counts as it pumped everyone up, suppose I can come up with something.'
I take the stand as Midnight gives me a mix between a grin and a smile before taking a couple steps back.
(I think I realized my issue when writing Midnight btw, I made her more Sadistic, she is a sadist but she also likes to act like a young girl, or like an 18 year old as well as horny but not all the time, she flirts but I think I was playing to hard into that side of her.)
Suppose I should go with something everyone will like, "Whether one of us are in the Hero Course, the General Course, or in another class entirely I can say one thing, we WILL give it OUR all to prove that this is our starting point, to look back and see how far we will grow, that is my Athlete's Oath!", I finish talking as the cloud erupts into cheers a couple of the students in slight shock, a few with a look of contempt and some unreadable.
I walk of the stage though not before noticing Midnight's, both amusement and a look that just says 'I'm impressed'.
Not that it shocking really, the point of a student going up there is have them face the lime light, most would be in shock or to embarrassed, few actually say something impressive or meaningful.
I walk back to my spot, Kaminari slapping my back giving me a thumbs up.
"Now without any delay let's get to the first event, these are the qualifiers many get sent home crying every year after this stage, and that fateful event will be... THIS!", the words saying 「Obstacle Course Race」.
'So that's not changed and the third stage is always one on one battles as it's the most important part, to show off your skill to get a certain hero's to see who YOU are and catch their attention, I myself have picked who I'm attempting to catch the eye off though she is a hard one to get the attention off, though it's not impossible as she may dislike asking for help but she was never above it'
"A race between every member of all eleven classes, a four kilometer (2.49 Miles rounded for those who speak freedom like myself) lap around the entire entire stadium itself, our school preaches freedom so as long as you don't go of course anything is game", on one of the walls a huge door opens up at least 20 feet tall with a light on top currently resting on red.
"Racers to your position", the light switches to yellow as everyone stands there, I slowly start welling a huge wave of repulsion energy at my fight.
A bunch of students around me arching slightly getting ready to sprint, even Ida's engine's start making noises.

"START!", the light switches to green as I blast into the air immediately overtaking both Todoroki and Bakugou who had quickly made top two.
We all fly into a long hallway that's very narrow, I place my feet on the walls as I use it as a foot hold shooting myself through the entire hallway in an instant.
"THE FIRST BARRIER ROBO INFERNO!!", Mic's voice comes over the... Mic as I quickly blitz past them using my agility and light weight body to quickly fly through them.
I'm quite confident in my speed you know, as I dash past, I momentarily place my foot on one of their heads, I quickly send energy into it as I create an Orb of Repulsion inside it before quickly detonating it as it sends me flying and it's body blocking some people's paths.
This is a test for hero's you've got to pay attention and overcome any and everything.
More robots appear in front of me, but they are all limited in movement, the only reason they become a problem is due to the smaller ones moving in synergy with them.
It may be a problem for others I should just shoot past- No the final round may draw the most attention but here is where you throw your hook.
I dash through destroying some of the with my legs and using the kicks to build more and more momentum as to not lose ground.
I still finish rather quickly as I fly over the fall trap with my quirk.
"WOW Y/n is quickly making ground and not wasting even the slightest movement, I guess it comes with the ability to control gravity!", Mic's voice comes out a bit quieter but still very bassy, probably Aizawa's doing.
"Oh, here come's the (and I shit you not) THE AFGHAN CARPET!" he goes on to explain it's inner workings but it doesn't matter if you can fly/float.
I quickly pass the finish line completely ignoring the test entirely
I feel like that should've been longer, than again we where seeing it from Midoriya's perspective.
"AND TO FIRT PLACE, Y/N SEKAI, OH COMING IN A BIT FURTHER BEHIND IS SECOND PLACE KATUSKI BAKUGOU, THEN THIRD IZUKU MIDORIYA, AND VERY CLOSE BEHIND HIM SHOTO TODOROKI!", I notice Bakugou walking up as he glares at me.
Huh, maybe it was closer than I thought, about 5-10 seconds

My breathing techniques are coming in handy and my control has gotten better, though I suppose the immediate blast I sent out and the attacks cost me some stamina, shouldn't be to bad to recover.
I notice Setsuna running up after them as well as many of both 1-B and 1-A, I see Yaoyorozu finish as a purple ball falls of behind her as she gives him a disgusted look

Awhile passes as everyone slowly finishes the test.
From center stage Midnight speaks up once again.
"The top 42 will qualify from here on out, anyone who didn't pass don't worry we will have other ways to show off your stuff", despite Midnight and I encounters she does present herself with an orderly fashion actually acting like a teacher it's kind of odd to see her like that, I wonder why she acts like how she does towards me then.
"But for now let's continue on with the main course, the Press Corps's going to be jumping out of their seats with this once so give it your all! Now onto the second event, I already know what it is,, are you all dying in suspense?", the screen appears, shifting a bit before a set of words appear on the screen.
"THIS!", she waves her hands towards said screen.
「Team Flag Battles」
'Nifty something new', a bunch of people start questioning what this game is gonna be about as some attempt to guess it's rules before Midnight looks gets a bit mad, suppose she is an exhibitionist so she likes the attention on her.
"Participants will be able to form of teams up to four members, fights will go on until only four teams are left, each team will have a flag and if that flag is stolen then you may continue but if it's brought back to a flag bearer then you will be out. Now here's the kicker the matches will all go on at once in the same field, a person will be deemed the flag bearer and they must keep the flag safe, they also cannot capture other flags."
'I see, so you either have to risk your strongest to stay as the defense or make them the offense but limiting your ability to take care of the flag in such a huge fray. Also she said you must get the enemies flag back to your own but I'm assuming it must be an active flag so it must be on the bearer. There don't seem to be any rule's against teaming or that you must have four members but it's probably the best to have four.
I stretch my back as I feel something poke my side, a smiling Setsuna now standing on my right.
"Suppose you wouldn't mind protecting this princess huh sir knight?"
"If the princess so desire then who am I to ignore a such an honorable request", I give her a flick on the forehead as we both laugh.
I notice Kendo walking up out of the corner of my eye, scratching her own neck while someone walks beside her.
Well isn't this the perfect team.

Every time I do a cliffhanger I can only be reminded of the clip from the Robots movie of the small door robot guy just closing the door and each time opening it to toy with the MC.
It's just funny as hell to me.
