Anne Sutton glanced at the butler, then at Nathan Fawcett. She still hadn't figured out why Nathan had come over today.
If he was here to talk about divorce, she felt there was no need to try and please him anymore. Even if she cooked for him, he probably wouldn't be interested in eating.
After all, he already had someone else taking care of him now.
"Does Mr. Fawcett want to eat? If you do, I'll go make something. But you probably didn't come to my home just to eat. If it's about something else, I think we can talk, and then you can leave."
Nathan Fawcett stared at Anne Sutton. "Are you trying to kick me out?"
'She... How dare she!'
'First, she stays away for all these days, and now she won't even cook a meal for me?'
Anne Sutton said, "I just don't want to get in the way of your time with Ms. Shields."
