-------------------------------------------------

The creature finally broke.

All those mismatched eyes widened in raw terror as Ghost Rider continued walking toward it through the burning clearing.

Then it turned.

Not to fight. To flee.

Now it was scared of him seeing its attack were not working on him.

Its dozens of pale arms dug desperately into the ruined ground as it dragged its stitched body away from the Rider.

Mouths shrieked over one another in layered panic while the trapped souls inside its flesh screamed alongside it.

But escape never came.

Chains erupted from the darkness.

Dozens of them. Burning. Rattling.

They shot across the clearing like living serpents before wrapping tightly around the creature's limbs, torso, and neck.

Hellfire exploded across the metal instantly.

The creature screeched in agony as its stitched flesh began burning apart.

Every trapped limb convulsed violently. Every stolen mouth screamed.

The chains tightened harder.

Dragging it back. Holding it in place.

Ghost Rider kept walking slowly toward it.

One step. Then another.

-THUD. -THUD.

"...."

The hellfire surrounding his body suddenly changed.

The deep crimson inferno dimmed for a brief moment.

Then—Blue flames ignited.

Bright. Pure. Ancient.

The entire forest changed beneath that light.

The burning heat disappeared, replaced by something vast and heavy that made even the rain feel sacred.

Biffer lowered itself immediately.

Not in fear. Recognition.

The chains themselves stopped rattling violently and instead glowed softly beneath the blue fire.

Ghost Rider's form transformed as the flames spread across his skeletal body.

The fire burning inside his eye sockets became radiant blue-white.

His entire presence shifted.

No longer pure punishment.

Something calmer. Older. Merciful.

After years of hunting sinners and burning damned souls through hellfire, Jojo had learned to maintain this form longer than before.

Three full days now.

The Angel Rider.

Seeing the Angel Rider The creature thrashed violently against the burning chains while its many mouths screamed louder.

But those screams had changed.

No longer rage. Desperation.

Because the souls trapped within it recognized what stood before them.

Angel Rider finally stopped directly in front of the abomination.

The blue flames reflected across its stitched flesh.

And beneath that light—The trapped souls began crying.

Not screaming. Crying.

Angel Rider slowly tilted his head while looking down at the suffering creature.

Then the flames poured from his mouth.

Blue fire flooded outward gently at first before engulfing the creature entirely.

The abomination shrieked as the holy flames consumed every inch of stitched flesh.

But unlike the hellfire—These flames did not punish.

They purified.

The creature's body began falling apart piece by piece beneath the blue inferno.

Layers of corrupted flesh dissolved away while countless shadowy figures slowly emerged from within the flames.

Souls. Hundreds of them.

Men. Women. Children.

Supernatural beings.

All fused together inside that horrific body for who knew how many years.

Now they rose slowly through the blue fire one after another.

Their twisted forms cleansed as the angelic flames burned away the corruption and agony chained to them.

Some wept.

Some simply stared upward in stunned silence.

Others smiled weakly for the first time in decades.

The creature itself continued screaming while its body collapsed inward.

Because the souls inside it were no longer trapped.

They were leaving.

Freeing themselves from the nightmare flesh Arkady had built around them.

Angel Rider remained completely motionless while the blue flames continued pouring from his mouth like a divine river swallowing the abomination whole.

The chains holding the creature slowly loosened as less and less remained to restrain.

Meanwhile, several feet away, Arkady watched the entire scene from the mud with ruined eyes.

Blind. Broken.

Even after the

But still conscious enough to hear the screams slowly transforming into relieved sobs.

And for the first time in his existence—Arkady understood what mercy looked like.

The last remains of the creature finally dissolved into glowing ash beneath the angelic fire.

Then silence returned to the forest.

Soft. Heavy. Sacred.

Hundreds of purified souls drifted upward through the rain-filled night sky like fading stars before vanishing beyond the clouds.

Angel Rider slowly closed his burning jaw.

The blue flames dimmed slightly around him.

Behind the Rider, the destroyed forest still burned beneath scattered traces of hellfire and lightning.

But the screams—Were gone.

The forest had fallen silent after the purification.

Only the sound of rain remained now, falling softly through drifting blue embers left behind by Angel Rider's flames.

The creature was gone.

Its suffering ended.

The countless trapped souls freed from the grotesque prison Arkady had created.

But the Russian scientist himself remained.

Or at least—

Part of him did.

Arkady lay motionless in the mud where Ghost Rider had discarded him earlier. His burned body twitched weakly beneath the falling rain, blackened cracks still glowing faintly with dying traces of electricity.

Then suddenly—Arkady felt cold.

Not physical cold. Something deeper. Wrong.

His eyes widened as he looked downward.

And froze. His own body lay beneath him.

Still. Broken. Smoking lightly in the rain.

Arkady stumbled backward in confusion only to realize his feet no longer touched the ground properly.

He raised trembling hands before his face.

Transparent. Shadow-like.

His breathing became uneven.

"No…"

His voice echoed strangely now, layered and hollow.

Then he saw them.

Thin red cracks spreading slowly across his spirit form.

Starting from his chest.

Branching outward across his arms, neck, and face like fractures spreading through shattered glass.

Each line glowed faintly crimson.

And every second—They widened.

Arkady stared at them in horror.

"What is happening to me?!"

The answer came from behind him.

Angel Rider slowly turned.

Blue flames burned quietly around the skeletal figure while rain evaporated before touching him.

The Rider looked directly at Arkady's soul.

Then spoke.

Not with rage. Not mockery. Something colder.

Certain.

"YOUR SOUL IS BREAKING."

Arkady backed away instinctively.

"No… no, that's impossible…"

The red fractures spread further.

Pieces of glowing spirit ash slowly drifted away from his cracking form.

Then Angel Rider took one step toward him.

The blue flames dimmed slightly.

And beneath them—Deep within the Rider's eye sockets—Arkady saw hellfire still burning underneath.

Waiting.

"THE HELL THAT AWAITS YOU…"

The Rider's voice echoed across the ruined forest.

Heavy enough to make the earth tremble faintly beneath the rain.

"GATE…HAS ALREADY OPENED."

Arkady suddenly heard something behind him.

Whispers. Hundreds of them.

Crying. Screaming. Laughing.

His eyes widened as he slowly turned toward his physical body lying on the ground.

Its chest began moving unnaturally.

Not breathing.

Opening.

The blackened flesh split apart with wet cracking sounds as darkness poured outward from inside the corpse.

Not shadow. Depth.

Endless depth.

And from within it—Hands emerged.

Shadowy. Burned. Twisted.

Dozens upon dozens of skeletal black arms reached outward from Arkady's ruined body, clawing desperately through the opening like prisoners escaping a pit.

Arkady screamed and stumbled backward.

"No— NO!"

The hands grabbed him instantly.

One around the leg.

Another around his arm.

Then dozens more.

Their touch burned colder than death itself.

Arkady thrashed violently as they began dragging him toward the opening inside his corpse.

"LET ME GO!"

The shadowy hands ignored him completely.

More emerged from the body every second, wrapping around his spirit form while the red cracks spread faster across his soul.

Arkady looked desperately toward Angel Rider.

"...."

For help. For mercy.

But the Rider remained motionless.

The blue flames around him burned silently beneath the rain.

Judgment had already been passed.

Arkady screamed as he was dragged closer to the darkness inside his own body.

And from within that abyss—He heard them.

Every victim. Every soul he had tortured.

Waiting.

The opening widened further as infernal heat poured out from the corpse.

Arkady's body suddenly began breaking apart into black ash beneath the strain, the gateway consuming the remains completely.

His flesh collapsed inward.

Bones shattered.

Then the corpse disintegrated entirely.

Nothing remained except the burning portal beneath it.

The shadowy hands dragged Arkady downward screaming into the darkness.

His soul cracked apart further as pieces of him broke away into drifting crimson fragments.

"PLEASE—!"

The final scream echoed through the forest.

Then he vanished into the abyss.

The portal collapsed instantly afterward.

Silence returned once more.

Only rain.

Ash.

And Angel Rider standing alone in the ruined clearing while blue flames flickered softly around his skeletal frame.
