In another area of the hospital, Shinho and Mamu stood outside a hospital door. It was a door to a 4-bed ward and, among these beds, there was… Jane Yu.
Mamu's eyes were red and puffed up. He hadn't stopped crying since the war, and he had gathered all his courage to go here. However, he was at a loss of what to do. He was plagued by guilt and became extremely depressed. Mamu had no family—he literally just tagged along Shinho's party—and it made people worry about him more.
Fortunately, Shinho saw this and understood his state, proposing to go to the hospital with him.
Although they had no idea how Jane was going to react, it was best for the child being consumed by guilt to see her and hear it for himself.
