The next day in the morning, Alex and Raphael prepared and met with Derek who was waiting for them at the front of the school.
"Ready?" He asked them.
"Uhm," Alex replied, not looking happy.
"Tsk," Derek clicked his tongue and went to his car. He opened it and the two boys went in followed by him. "The market is miles away from here, so when we get there, we'll have to book an inn to spend the night. Everything begins tomorrow," he said to them, only to receive silence as a response. He shrugged his shoulders and then began to move.
Throughout the journey, Alex didn't look happy and kept looking outside the window but Derek didn't mind his attitude; he would glance at him through the front mirror and then smile and continue driving.
Just as he said, the drive was a long one, and by the time they arrived at the town called Fallen Tower, it was already late in the noon. As such, they packed somewhere close to an inn and decided to spend the night there.
