Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

If it's against Magneto, like Professor X, even if Magneto can destroy all human beings, there is still nothing he can do about Arthur.

Magneto can control magnetism, but Arthur can control gravitation, which is more advanced than him.

Given enough time, Arthur can distort the gravity of the Earth to the point of destroying civilization.

There are numerous ways to summon meteorites, lift a city up into the sky, and then smash it down (Ultron: 6), trigger a world-destroying flood, and annihilate human civilization. Arthur can do all of these.

This is because the system has granted him a super-enhanced version of spell power, much stronger than that of the Holy Master. This is what the system later revealed to him.

Arthur grabbed the Red Devil's back and disappeared in a puff of smoke.

. . . . . .

Such a significant move by the Mutant Brotherhood naturally cannot go unnoticed by S.H.I.E.L.D., which secretly monitors the world.

Coulson submitted the latest analysis materials to Black Braised Egg.

These are reports obtained after a comprehensive analysis from various departments of S.H.I.E.L.D.

S.H.I.E.L.D. has never given up on monitoring Arthur. Although they can't monitor him closely, if Superman finds out, he may even be killed directly.

However, they have deployed a satellite to monitor the entire area where Arthur is located.

Even though the expenses incurred are significant, the threat posed by Superman is too great. He is essentially a walking humanoid nuclear bomb, or the "big Ivan" of the nuclear bomb.

If it suddenly erupts one day, it could mean the end of not just America, but possibly all of human civilization.

"How is Superman doing now?"

Black Braised Egg, Mare Frank, Nick Fury asked seriously.

"According to the monitoring situation, Superman followed the red-haired ghost and disappeared. He should be going to see Magneto!" Coulson replied.

Black Braised Egg's face grew even darker, as this was the last thing he wanted to hear.

Magneto has already turned the world into chaos. Adding an uncontrolled Superman to the mix could mean the end of the world when people wake up tomorrow.

"According to the analysis of the mental model specially built for him, the chances of him joining the Brotherhood of Mutants will not exceed one percent!" Coulson said.

"We still don't understand how his abilities were awakened. During our interview with him, although his words were all nonsense, there is a significant clue. He said, 'He said he is not a mutant!' Regardless of the truth, since he doesn't consider himself a mutant, he won't think from the perspective of a mutant. Therefore, he won't pay attention to Magneto, an extremist who puts the interests of mutants first!"

"On the other hand, Superman is an extremely self-centered person with strong self-awareness. He is not easily influenced by others. He is very stubborn. It's nearly impossible to persuade someone like him with just a few words. Even Professor X's psychic abilities would have a hard time brainwashing him subconsciously!"

Although the attempt to recruit Superman failed, S.H.I.E.L.D. never gave up on the idea of recruiting him.

Having a god-like being would be enough to suppress all dissidents. If S.H.I.E.L.D. could acquire such a super-powered weapon, they would no longer need to bow down to anyone.

On the surface, S.H.I.E.L.D. appears powerful, but it only holds sway over small countries. In the eyes of major powers, especially the "five big hooligans," S.H.I.E.L.D.

is merely a swipe away.

But

what can they do? S.H.I.E.L.D.'s funds are provided by others. If their financial support is cut off, they would be helpless against those powers.

As the current Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury is naturally unwilling to accept this fate and is seeking a way out, trying to change the status quo.

"It's not an option to be constantly controlled by others. It seems we need to accelerate the research on the Rubik's Cube of the Universe!" Nick Fury thought to himself.

. . . . . .

The headquarters of the Brotherhood of Mutants is located on an island in the sea.

The entire island is a steel city, as Magneto used his abilities to gather a large amount of metal from all over the world and transform the island.

During World War II, Magneto purchased this island from the United Nations. Legally, it belongs to Magneto, and a large number of mutants have gathered here, creating a sanctuary for mutants.

All countries covet this place, wanting to flatten it, but due to Magneto's terrifying abilities, they can only turn a blind eye or choose to ignore it, allowing mutants to survive and thrive here.

After teleporting into a room, a group of mutants immediately surrounded Arthur.

"Tsk tsk tsk! Is this how you treat guests?"

Arthur wasn't worried at all, instead joking with a relaxed expression.

"Make way!"

The crowd automatically parted, and a silver-haired old man wearing a peculiar helmet and cloak emerged from the crowd. This was Magneto, the leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants.

"Hello, my fellow mutants, welcome to our big family!"

Magneto said softly, clearly regarding Arthur as a mutant.

"So direct? Magneto, are you so sure I'm a mutant?"

"Of course, my fellow mutants, we possess the same special talents, abilities that surpass ordinary humans. Every mutant is unique, a heaven-sent gift..."

Magneto spoke like a leader in a multi-level marketing scheme, immediately delving into his racial philosophy and attempting to brainwash Arthur.

"Stop! I came here to meet you, firstly to see what the legendary mutant leader looks like, and secondly to explain that I am not a mutant, and I am not your fellow."

Arthur got straight to the point.

"I understand that you may not accept your identity as a mutant right away. After all, the discrimination we face from humans is severe. But as long as you can accept your abilities and your true self, one day you will embrace being a mutant and join us in fighting for the future of mutants..." Magneto continued to persuade.

If Arthur were truly a mutant, Magneto might have succeeded in convincing him. Unfortunately for Magneto, that wasn't the case.

"It seems you are too old to hear me clearly. I already said I am not a mutant. Besides, I am a billionaire with immense wealth waiting for me to enjoy. Why would I join your precarious and horrifying organization?" Arthur nonchalantly remarked.

"So, you're rejecting me?"

Magneto's face instantly darkened, his voice turning stern.

"Isn't this obvious?"

"Then go to hell! Give it to me!"

Suddenly, Magneto roared, and the surrounding mutants rushed forward instantly.

"Then let's play with you!"

Arthur shrugged and kicked the fastest mutant into a pile of mud.

After that, like wolves among sheep, a punch and a kick were enough to take away the life of a mutant.

This was the result of Arthur unleashing his power. If he truly intended to take action, the battle would be over in an instant, and his life would be ended before Magneto could react.
