"What are you smiling about?" At that moment, Sylvia walked in from the balcony with her phone in hand. Seeing Fang Li sitting on the living room floor, smiling at Bo Xie, she couldn't help asking.
"Nothing. Bo Xie just changed forms," Fang Li answered casually as he picked up the nodachi lying on the floor.
Like Kanzaki's Shichiten Shichitou, Bo Xie was over two meters long and had no visible blade edge when sheathed.
At a glance, it looked more like a long staff than a sword. The difference was that Shichiten Shichitou was primarily black, while Bo Xie was a pure, immaculate white. A white Urm Manadyte was embedded at the end of the hilt as well.

Killing Points worked similarly to Quest Points. Quest Points were earned by completing a world's quest system objectives. Killing Points, on the other hand, were earned by killing designated targets within a Dungeon World.
For this Dungeon Quest, the designated targets for Main Quest 2 were Mysterious Beings. Every Mysterious Being they killed would grant Killing Points. Using this world's disaster classifications, the rewards roughly worked out as follows:
-'Wolf-Level:' 1 point
- 'Tiger-Level:' 10 points
- 'Demon-Level:' 100 points
- 'Dragon-Level:' 500 points
- 'God-Level:' 50,000 points
Of course, those were only baseline values. Even within the same rank, some enemies were stronger than others.
Defeating stronger individuals yielded more points. As long as they kept killing Mysterious Beings, they would continue accumulating Killing Points. Once they reached the required amount, Main Quest 2 would be complete.
"Main Quest 2 requires ten thousand Killing Points," Fang Li explained. "If we farm Wolf- and Tiger-Level fodder, who knows how long it'll take? Even Demon-Level monsters would require a hundred kills. Dragon-Level targets would only require twenty."
Unfortunately, Dragon-Level threats were far more powerful than Demon-Level ones. Fang Li didn't believe Dragon-Level monsters reached the Second Rank. Even so, the gap within the Third Rank could be enormous.
For example, Fang Li himself was Third Rank, yet he had instantly killed both the Wild Man leader and Sweet Mask, who were also Third Rank. Of course, as a Main God's Envoy, Fang Li benefited from classes, titles, equipment, and skills, making him an exceptional case.
But the same principle applied to everyone else. Within the Third Rank, there could be individuals possessing superior attributes, powerful equipment, unique skills, or extraordinary combat techniques.
Take Fang Li himself. Without using the Nanaya Assassination Arts, his speed was around three times the speed of sound.
By combining the footwork and movement techniques of the Nanaya Assassination Arts with Prana enhancement, he could reach ten times the speed of sound.
And when using 'Extreme Death: Seven Nights', his speed exploded to one hundred times the speed of sound.
As a result, even among Third-Rank opponents, the gap between Demon-Level and Dragon-Level threats could be massive. Fang Li could instantly kill a Demon-Level Mysterious Being, but unless he used 'Extreme Death: Seven Nights', instantly killing a Dragon-Level threat would be impossible.
The problem was that while 'Extreme Death: Seven Nights' was incredibly powerful, it placed a tremendous burden on his body. It couldn't be used casually.
And Dragon-Level monsters were exceptionally rare; they didn't appear whenever one wanted them to. In fact, even Demon-Level Mysterious Beings were uncommon. In disaster-prone regions, seeing one Demon-Level threat per month was already considered frequent.
Therefore, Main Quest 2 was nowhere near as straightforward as Main Quest 1.
Since Main Quest 1 had been designed for quick completion, Main Quest 2 was clearly intended to be a long-term objective. Otherwise, it wouldn't match the difficulty expected of a Third-Rank Dungeon World.
Of course, Fang Li could always grind Wolf- and Tiger-Level monsters slowly. But the longer a quest took to complete, the lower the final clearance evaluation would be. If he didn't care about post-clearance rewards, he could take his time. But what Main God's Envoy would willingly give up better rewards?
