"Hmm" sniffing the air Pono rotated his head with his eyes close taking in the scent. "Something's coming…" tossing his eyes open the insectoid clicked "…above." Boooooom rocking with the rumble of the earth the Cidae couldn't do anything but stare at the six-legged two story four armed building of a beast standing in front of them with two giant barbaric swords that resembled the teeth of its mandibles. "I didn't smell this coming. The ones outside were big enough.
"Take this." Passing each one of her associates a tiny greenish-grey swirl marble of a pill Nera told them, "Eat it will return your strength. The fungi and bacteria will also fix and seal all wounds. We will need to generate all of the force we can to find this victory."

"Selene." Opening his mandibles wide at the thought passing through his mind, Morm shook with excitement. "I give thanks to the seven." Stepping forth with her Hymnodes both clicked to their comrades to give them some space. Breathing in and out the pair put themselves in a trance before inhaling through every spiracle in their bodies and holding the energy within. Holding this force in for nine seconds with an exhale the two released a sphere of energy which expanded then condensed into a large colossal amber colored gem which shattered in to violet lights revealing two giant ants that stood a midsection with their foe.
"We Cidae share traits of all insectoids." Said Nera in an almost questioning way.
"It appears that our origin maybe different but our ways are similiar." Replied Selene through telepathy. "While other insectoids are forced to overcome their more primal forms we Formicidae must gain the strength, spirit and knowledge to access this gate, due to a slight alteration in our dna." Covering her associates in an electric field she told them. "We can get into depth later."
"It has been two gruesome and relentless luderes since the Hymnodes placed foot in the Pterradium Majaal." Spoke Oeco. "From appearance many have return to the collective but there are still few that have intruded upon Pteridae territory and a legion awaiting their moment to enter this forbidden kingdom."
"I have placed an electro-magnetic field around the three of you to ensure your survival and to increase mobility." Creating spheres of electricity for her comrades to ride Selene didn't have to waste a thought on her hymnode for the moment their foe made a slight movement a spit fire of acid came flying out of his mandibles like a Russian turret.
Multiplying her spheres of electricity Selene flung them at her foe along with her fellow formicidae.
Clicking its mandibles and standing its ground the Pterridae raised the two arms that held its swords with then began to swiping at the intruder's attacks at jet speed while hurling slashes of compressed air at its opponent before finally charging in on the attack with a centipede type swiftness.
Creating walls of earth to hide themselves burrowing underground Morm and Selene sat their next motion in play.
"She still has the ability to control the spheres." Searching for an opening while her ball of electricity dodged, weaved, zigged, zagged, swirled and whatever else it took to avoid taking damage. Finding no opportunity Nera decided to make one herself. Sending a vision to Selene the insectoid barely had time to register the movements as her ride transported from one space to the next leaving the cidae discombobulated until her feet found ground. Watching Clara his breath taker vanish along with her sphere Pono eyes also caught Nera his slice of peace "Kakarde Abyssinica" spew into the air underneath the Pterridae in the form of a flaming green tree with flaming red tendrils for flowers.
Screeching as tendrils sunk into his body setting its blood a boil the Pteridae swung its swords but it slid through the flames effortlessly only went through the flame.
"Morm your assistance." Yelled Pono in his mind
Bursting out of the ground like a whale in water and snatching Pono from his electrical ride with a snap of his insectoid neck Morm slung him back to the earth causing him to bounce up to the point where he could get a second mandible grip of his adversary before slinging him at their foe.
"Pleitus…" releasing the force of his fall in his fist, "…Nein!" Pono used the kinetic energy for a blow to the chest which exploded like a massive bomb knocking the Pterridae off four of its feet
"Haaa" rotating at high speeds thanks to the assistance of Selene's electric sphere Clara made a hundred foot sword visible in a fleck of the sunlight before shoooeeep slicing off the neck of the Pterridae pinpoint.
