'Rino was acting flirty... That was a statement of fact, and it wasn't her casual leaning onto her phenomenal feminine power either. No this was targeted.'
And knowing that as a woman doesn't just literally lean their heads against you if they weren't interested in you. I decided to address this without running around the question.
"Rino, are you coming on to me?" I asked to cut through any confusion in this ambiguous moment.
For a long moment Rino was quiet and then she audibly took a breath and said. "Yes Jake I am, I am coming onto you with the intent of romantic involvement." She finished steadily but there was no hiding the rise of her heartbeat against my own.
To say nothing of how I could feel in her excitement at admitting it her pheromones were leaking out more which made the virus within my body shift as it eliminated its influence and I could literally feel the virus within my body growing more resistant and her pheromones even strengthen by her excitement were weakening to my senses.
'Hooh boy... Was boinking my boss a good idea? Probably not, not to mention the good decade age difference between us as she was in her late twenties while I got de-aged till I was just under twenty myself.' I thought as I considered the cons of this relationship.
But as though sensing my thoughts Rino spoke softly as one of her hands landed on my knee. "We are new to one another Jake, I perfectly understand it. But you are handsome, you have a good personality and I want to see where this can go."
And there was a kicker. I couldn't help but think that the only reason she was considering it was the fact that I wasn't a slave to her supernatural hormones.
'Fuck it. We ball.' I thought as I gave Rino's waist a gentle squeeze before I took a breath and said. "Alright I accept that, just... You can be the one to tell my master you are dating me." I said with a giggle almost escaping me as the slot in the side of the room opened up with a couple of trays carrying our expensive lunch coming out.
But Rino's form went still as she nervously giggled and said. "Jake that's not funny you can't send your master after me. She may literally kill me you know? I can't date a man for a single day and then get killed by his almost-parent?!"
I snorted before I actually chuckled loud and heavily as I laughed freely as I said. "Rino, you probably already heard but I am Furunji Hayato's grandson... Your ass is cooked once my family including the masters find out haha!"
Even as our expensive steak meals rolled in front of us I couldn't help but look down at Rino with concern as she let out a small weak death rattle of a groan before she gave my knee a squeeze.
She then let go up my knee and scooted away a tiny bit with her giving off a small 'Hmph!' noise as she got a bit of space so we could properly eat.
And for a bit there was silence before she took out her laptop as we ate and then she worked on a couple of emails as I happily enjoyed the wonderful meal. "Hmm, Jake I have a question for you?" Rino started with an odd lit to her tone making me raise and eyebrow and then she continued after seeing I was paying her my full attention. "Being honest this is my first relationship and I don't know what I am doing, so I hope you don't mind if I explore this side of life with some patience."
After a moment of thought, I said slowly. "Alright... That's fine, I don't have too much dating experience either so we can take our time. No need to rush through things."
With Rino having moved over to the side our table I was able to see a small flush enter her cheeks as she idly dragged a chopstick over a piece of steak and she said quietly. "Slowly huh..."
After a bit, I in turn asked her a question. "So, when is the representative for the business meeting supposed to come?" I asked in curiosity with Rino giggling and quickly responding.
"Oh, I already answered their inquiries with those emails I sent. Not that I would meet them in person after all as meeting in person with my pheromones can be... Annoying when I don't plan to mentally fry the business rival into selling off their stocks and assets for a cheaper price."
Slowly nodding with a wry smile at the thought I finished another piece of steak and Rino spoke up again. "Oh and Jake, in this vein of us dating... Would you care to return to my condo after our meal? I was hoping we could relax and watch some a movie and speak more."
Hearing that I smiled and said with amusement. "Of course, I have all of today and tomorrow cleared out for the fight with Trojan Condoms, so I don't mind keeping my girlfriend company."
With that all said, we quickly wrapped up our eating and made our way out of the restaurant as we headed back to Rino's condo that was at the top floor of her companies building and as I was going over there I made sure to send a message to Miu and Shigure to tell them that I was going to be over here at Rino's house for 'security reasons' before the fight.
But as we were making our way into the backlot of the building I saw someone standing on lamp post of all things... And even though she was wearing a hoodie with the hood covering her face I recognized the damn outfit as Stelle's outfit.
I quickly looked around for her master the Black Widow but as I glanced back at her my lips twitched seeing a flash of her form as she fell behind the large concrete dividing wall separating out the Gold Pleasure Group's building from the nearby roads.
'Fucking assassins, she wants something from me.' I thought with a frown as I placed a hand on Rino's waist and said curtly. "We need to move."
