Chapter 3 - chapter 2

"Oh Miguel you came! and that boy next door Is it?" said a gentleman who was about 50 years old, he had a hard man's face and muscles to back them up.

"Sir he is Paul, yesterday he allowed me to bring him to help a little" said Miguel quickly in a respectful way.

'Huh, yesterday you called him an old geezer and now you are so formal' thought Paúl throwing him a quick glance.

Paul thought, but quickly replied:

"My name is Paul sir, it's a pleasure to meet you and I hope I can be of help" Paul said bowing a little, he didn't know the greeting etiquette, but the Japanese greeting is one of the most respectful greetings there is, so it's no harm in using it he thought.

"Ahhh so you are that boy, my daughter-in-law has spent almost every day talking about you, my name is Klink and I am a merchant and blacksmith this is my store go say hello to-".

"Paul!" a woman's voice was heard coming out of three of the customer counter in a hurry, she was beautiful, her hair was silver and her eyes were the manifestation of warmth. From her appearance she looked about 20 years old.

'She is she?' wondered Paul but he didn't have time to react because he was wrapped in the woman's arms, as he was a boy, the woman had to bend down to be able to hug him.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" said the woman as tears seemed to come to her eyes.

"Even though you said that leaving the child in the orphanage was a better option under the circumstances, you are crying like a little girl Helen!" said the gentleman kindly.

"At that moment I had to agree to make a promise to my sister that it would be so, I had no other choice, otherwise I would raise him as my own son!" said Helen wiping the tears from her eyes.

"You, are you my aunt!" asked Paul having some vague memories but no matter what he did to remember, he was too young to retain that information.

"Yes, that's right, I spent your first two years at the orphanage taking care of you, but I had to go back from video to my pregnancy of little Luna so she couldn't be there anymore!" said Helen as she stroked Paul's silver hair with her hand gently.

"Helen is still a child, she won't understand about these things, hey Paul what you should know is that you will work in this store as part of the family, but you will live in the orphanage until you can live on your own, I'm sure you can clearly understand this principle!" said Klink although by his expression he looked serious, his voice showed that he was treating him kindly.

"Th-this one yes, I will try my best to do my best!" said Paul seriously, but he looked comical because he was being hugged forcibly.

"Hahahahshs" Miguel was laughing because of his expression he already knew a little bit of the story, but then he calmed down when he was noticed by Klink, but he still felt happy after all Paul is his friend.

"well I'll be out on business, I'll come at noon, Miguel is walking around showing Paul the work he will be doing, be careful with the edge of the guns, I repeat be very careful!" Klick said warningly as he walked through the door.

Paul felt a little respect for the gentleman so he didn't try to use an analytical eye on him.

"Follow me Paul, I'll show you how it's done" Miguel said as he touched the thickness of his thin arm trying to demonstrate his strength.

Helen felt a bad feeling from that and said she would take over teaching Paul the basics.

For Paul as he was just a kid, they just let him sweep the floor.

Miguel's job was to sort the swords, and that in itself was a dangerous job for a child, so they didn't let Paul who was younger, at least that was the view they had of him, to be handling weapons.

The days went by and little by little he became familiar with this aunt of his, and every morning Paul did two push-ups, it was the limit that his small body could achieve.

Every day he checked his profile until there were small changes in it.

Name: Paul.

Race: human.

Health: good.

Primary title: villager.

Secondary titles: none.

Skills: none.

Agility: 1

Strength: 1

Intelligence: 32.

Level: 1 //Aldean.

Experience: 0.5 / 1.

Blessings: none.

Contracts: none.

My agility increased by 10% and my strength by 20%, but best of all, my experience increased by half.

It's been a month and this is all that can increase, it's a pity but it's not unfortunate, I think my progress is pretty good. Magic eh? According to my aunt there is magic, even she can use it but she says she can only do little things and refuses to show it to me, she says not to worry about those things and grow up happy For God's sake, it's magic, being able to use magic powers is happiness!'

Paul muttered to himself sitting in the dining room of the orphanage.

'I think I should do a training method' Paul said quietly.

Miguel, who was next to him, heard him and asked him:

"Training method? You mean training to be a soldier?"

"That's right, that way we can have a faster progress, the training for warrior starts at 12 years old, if we start at this age our future will be unlimited!" proposed the idea Paul, Miguel who was next to him, had to admit that what Paul said made sense, still, he was a little hesitant to train.

"Don't worry this plan is only benefits and zero disadvantages, you just have to plan well, I will show you my training theory of how I think the standard cultivation manual is, even if it is not like that, it is because it will be much better, later I will tell you the instruction so you can go test it and verify the results yourself, for now come let's go to Mr. Klink's store" Paul got up, but when to go he was blocked by a boy who was bigger than him having about 11 years old.

"look at you, little shrimp, you ran away quickly every time I go after you, who has started to bother me!" said the boy raising his voice, two boys of the same age were behind him.

"Ricardo leave us alone this is not your place to act as you please!" said Miguel with an ugly expression on his face, it was clear that these two groups shared a great enmity.

"Hahaha if I want acted as my place, or are you going to hit me?" said Ricardo as he and his group laughed.

"Ricardo look at the person next to you" said Paul in a monotone manner, pointing to the side.

Ricardo reflexively turned his face, his mistake.

*PLASH*

He was greeted by a slap from Paul that left his cheek reddened.

"You!" Richard held his cheek as he glared at Paul angrily, he never thought in his mind that a 5 year old would slap him, let alone in front of everyone else.

He didn't think twice but as he was about to hit Paul this one said:

"Ma'am this kid here is bullying us!" said Paul as tears streamed down his face.

"You bastard like I'm ever going to believe you again!"

But at that moment he was pulled by the ears by a lady who had just arrived.

"Ricardo! Aren't you ashamed to make little children cry? You'll see how I'll punish you so you won't keep bullying others!" said the lady annoyed by Ricardo's behavior, he was one of the many children who always gave her trouble.

Saying that she pulled him out of the middle of the other children holding him by the ear.

Seeing this Paul let out a smirk, as he watched Ricardo being dragged away.

You asked for it, kid' thought Paul.

"Madam I am innocent, it was all planned by that boy!" said Ricardo resentfully.

"Do you still intend to lie? It seems I must make your punishment more severe!" reprimanded the lady taking Ricardo away.

"Now we're really leaving" said Paul shrugging his shoulders.

As they left, Miguel couldn't help but raise his purge and say holding back his laughter:

"now that guy will think twice before bothering us, but I must say I'm surprised at how you handled it all."

"he asked for it, I just give back a mile for a yard, that's the way I act."

Miguel was surprised by Paul's words, he was a younger boy, but he felt that those words came from someone experienced, that's when he unconsciously began to take Paul's words more seriously.
