Seeing that Kaijira was now leaving, Millie waved goodbye while still holding the sandwich he had given her.

Following Atsuo's orders Robecca displayed the footage of Kaijira fighting on monitor.

The footage started with one of the evacuees recording themselves completely fired up with excitement before turning their phone towards the window.

Similar to how Kaijira appeared to protect them, Kaijira was blocking the Devils of the Fallen from getting close to the evacuees.
