As we approached Leopold 2's base, we could hear the sound of gunfire and explosions. It was clear that he was prepared for us. We knew that this battle would not be easy, but we were determined to defeat him and put an end to Hitler's tyranny once and for all.
We approached the base cautiously, keeping an eye out for any traps or ambushes. We made our way through the perimeter and into the main compound, where we were immediately met with heavy resistance.
Leopold 2's soldiers were well-trained and heavily armed, and they put up a fierce fight. But we were able to hold our own, using our own unique abilities to outmaneuver and outsmart them. Okita used his lightning-fast swordplay to take out several soldiers at once, while Vespera used her mastery of time to slow down enemy bullets and grenades, giving us time to dodge them.
As we moved deeper into the base, the battles grew more intense. We were faced with tanks, artillery, and even some of Leopold 2's own unique powers. He had the ability to manipulate metal, using it to create deadly weapons and traps that tested our strength and agility.
But we were determined to defeat him, and after a grueling battle that lasted hours, we finally emerged victorious. Leopold 2 was defeated, and Hitler's forces were one step closer to being taken down.
However, our victory came at a cost. As we were fighting, we got separated from each other. Okita was nowhere to be found, and Vespera and I were left to search the base for him. We searched every corner of the base, but he was nowhere to be found.
Eventually, we found ourselves in the heart of the base, where we stumbled upon a hidden laboratory. We could hear the sound of machines whirring and saw the flicker of lights in the distance. It was clear that something important was being kept here.
We cautiously approached the laboratory, keeping our guard up in case there were any surprises waiting for us. As we drew closer, we could hear the sound of someone working on a machine. We quietly peeked around the corner and saw Okita, his back to us, working on a strange device.
We called out to him, but he didn't respond. As we got closer, we saw that he was in some sort of trance, his eyes glazed over and unresponsive. We quickly realized that he had been captured by Leopold 2 and brainwashed into doing his bidding.
We knew we had to snap him out of it, but we weren't sure how. Vespera suggested using her time powers to go back in time and try to prevent him from being captured, but we weren't sure if it would work.
In the end, we decided to try it. Vespera used her powers to transport us back in time, to just before we entered the base. We re-traced our steps, this time taking a different route, and were able to avoid the ambush that had led to Okita's capture.
When we arrived back at the laboratory, Okita was still there, but he was no longer under Leopold 2's control. He had snapped out of his trance, and was working on the machine with a renewed sense of purpose.
We breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that we had saved our friend and that he was back to being his old self again. But we also knew that we had a long way to go before we could defeat Hitler and his remaining generals.
As we left the base and set out to find the next general, we knew that the battles ahead would be even more difficult. But we were determined to see it through, no matter what challenges.
