Though the matter of the Black Tide was settled, it didn't seem like it was a solution that everyone was satisfied with.
Even though it was a solution that solved everything, there were those that were worried about what would happen if the Black Tide were to break out again.
There were those that worried that the Black Tide might be able to corrupt people even though it was sealed. After all, it was able to create those Apostles once and it wasn't as if it couldn't do it a second time.
Which was why there were opposing factions that formed after the Black Tide matter was over.
There were those that wanted to study the relics to see if there was some kind of way to take care of the Black Tide permanently. They wanted to find some kind of solution that would allow them to replace the Black Tide.
