Though they said ancestors, there really were only the two of them.
It wasn't as if there were that many more and from the aura that came from them, it was easy to tell that they weren't as strong as the rock elemental ancestor.
Even if they had spread their essence out to save this place, it still wasn't enough to compete with the rock elemental ancestor.
As if they could guess what I was thinking from my expression, one of the flame elemental ancestor said, "You can't compare us to that old rock. He's the one that worked with the gods first and paved the path for the rest of us."
The other flame elemental ancestor just gave a nod in agreement.
But the casual way that they said this completely caught me off guard.
