"Regarding yesterday…" I'd managed to start speaking, I just need to keep going, "I-"

'Huh?'
I turned to look towards Shirayaa, whom had spoken faster and louder than I did. She held a forlorn look on her face with a wry smile.
"I'm sorry for yesterday. They started asking what you were like when we were younger, so I told them about the time we met, how mischievous we were and how we eventually decided to go out and explore the desert."
"And at some point, the topic must've moved to a more sexual one, and I began recalling some of our earlier experiences. Which, then led to what happened yesterday. I'm sorry for making you feel the way that you did." Shirayaa bowed to me as she finished her words.
I was at a loss for words. I wanted to apologise for how I reacted yesterday, and I still do, but what she just said made it harder for me to do so.
There was a moment of silence before I spoke up again. "I'm sorry too."
