In the view of the homebody witch, learning is just a way to improve oneself and please oneself; she learns simply because she enjoys the feeling of gradually getting stronger, she's learning for herself.
But these genius interns, however, seem to be learning to please others or to prove themselves to others.
Well, never mind, everyone has their own ambitions. Although she doesn't fully understand, she doesn't intend to impose her viewpoint on others.
