The attack left Erik's haki exhausted but it killed Vergo in an instant, There was now a large gaping hole in the place where Vergo's heart should be. He was dead.
Erik dug a small hole before burying the dead body of Vergo in it. After Burying the body he looked at the direction where Law and Corazon had left prior and Took a dive.
He was very good at swimming, he swam everyday and had good stamina, so it shouldn't be a problem to catch up to Rosinante and Law.
A few minutes passed of nothing but swimming when a small boat came into Erik's view, He swam to the boat as fast as he could.
"I am here." Erik said to law and Corazon as he got on board the Dinghy. Corazon was trying to make law use his power but law was having difficulty making the bubble. Seeing Erik, both of them were startled.
"You swam all the way here?" Corazon asked Erik, to which Erik Nodded. He arrived here in 15 minutes while they had set sail 45 minutes ago.
"Yeah, And I gave the cylinder to the marines on Tsuru's fleet." Erik said as he removed his shirt and left it to dry.
"She is a good marine." Rosinante said. Law was still busy trying to figure out his new devil fruit with little success.
"You don't magically cure your White led poisoning with the Ope Ope no mi law." Erik said to law, Whose entire face had gotten pale from the White lead.
"What should I do then?" Law asked Erik.
"Imagine a circular room expanding from your right hand." Erik said as law put his right hand out. A small sphere appeared on it.
"Expand it outwards, make it bigger." Erik said, Law attempted to do so but failed miserably as the ball in his hands couldn't get bigger.
"Release the ball." Erik told law, Law did as Erik told him to as the ball expanded outwards, a small room, the size of the Dinghy was created.
"You can control anything inside this room." Erik told law, Corazon was watching from the side with amazement, what he couldn't get law to do for the last half and hour was accomplished by this kid in a few minutes.
"Cut a small part of your skin and extract the white lead from there." Erik saod as law cut a small section of skin in his hand. The cut was instantly bleeding.
"How do I take it out?" Law asked Erik.
"Try and sense all the white lead in your body and force it to go to where you cut your skin." Erik said as law nodded and started extracting small white metal pieces from his body, it was around half a table spoon of white lead. They Weapeod it in a piece of cloth a d threw it in the ocean.
"Law, Are your feeling better?" Corazon asked as he held Law's shoulders. Law nodded before smiling at Corazon. After Six months, after six months, Law's white lead poisoning was finally cured. Erik in the sidelines couldn't help but smile. This was the first change he made to the story, he saved Corazon.
Law's skin was gradually getting back it's original colour and his ongoing fever was slowly receding.
"Thank you, Erik, You saved law." Corazon said as he got on his knees and started thanking Erik.
"Corazon, You don't need to thank me, I just showed law how to use the devil fruit, I am sure he could have figured it out either way if I didn't instruct him." Erik said as he put his palms Infront of his face.
"Erik, You are being humble, You also saved me from all those Pirates and helped us escape." Corazon said as he continued thanking Erik, after a few seconds, Erik could'nt help but sigh.
"I lied Doflamingo, I told him that you guys left towards northeast." Erik said as he looked down.
"Doffy must be angry at you now, He will do anything to find us." Corazon commwnted as he Looked at Erik.
"Things could'nt have worked out between me and Doffy, I am his natural Enemy." Erik said as he looked up to Corazon, who had a dumbfounded expression.
"Corazon, Law, Keep what I am about to say a secret, My name isn't just William Erik, It is William D. Erik." Erik said in a low voice, Rosinante and Law's mouths were wide like Saucers.
