Above them sat a dignified and elegant woman, her wings draped behind her like a beautiful gown, quietly perched atop the tree and observing Valentina intently.
They were, respectively, the legendary Prince Frost and Ice Prince, renowned alongside the Moon Princess, and their mother, the Phoenix King, Nephilim.
Valentina felt somewhat uneasy under the scrutiny of the phoenixes perched on the branches. She only felt a bit of safety in the silhouette of the Moon Princess standing before her. She quietly moved a step toward the Moon Princess, but her gaze continued to dart around, searching for Fisher. She wanted to find him.
After what seemed an eternity, the Phoenix King seated at the top of the tree nodded gently toward the Moon Princess and spoke,
"Granted."
All the phoenixes around them fell silent, except for Valentina, who asked the Moon Princess in a panic,
"Wait, Moon Princess, what exactly are you doing... I don't really understand..."
