She was able to see far further and broader than back then, allowing her to make better decisions, or so she believed that it was that way.
If she made a plan, then she would have to trust in her judgement, and she would have to put some trust in those whom she had chosen.
If she could not put a little faith in them after choosing them out of so many people, then she would be unable to go through with such a plan in the first place.
Perhaps her faith would not be rewarded in the future, but she was at least willing to take a gamble on them, so it was already a big step forward compared to her previous self, who wished to do everything alone and not put her trust in anything.
If things did not work out the first try, then she could always try again, so long as she was able to live longer.
