One of the biggest issues would be that Ash had no experience in a leadership role, and she had no knowledge of those types of families.
She had no business or management knowledge and experience, so it was less likely that she would be able to handle a high position in that type of family unless she was able to learn everything quickly.
There would be far too many responsibilities and many other things to keep her busy even if she did learn to adapt to her environment.
Even if she were able to get used to things, it would not completely feel like it would be something that would be her own if she did obtain that type of power within the family.
The power and resources would be available to her in many ways, but it would still come with many obligations and responsibilities.
