Perhaps there would be more questions related to the suspicions Cheryl and others would have about Ash's origins and other things like her motives for joining an organisation like Cerberus.
If someone were hiding something or did not choose to tell others about something so important, then they would usually have reasons for doing so.
Some would choose to keep it to themselves to protect themselves, but others would do it for the sake of making others let their guard down so that they could reveal everything at a time that would benefit them most.
Some of those situations would be for survival or to gain something, but others could be far more harmful if such intentions were targeted at someone or something.
If that was targeted at an organisation like Cerberus and those who ran it, then it was possible that someone like Ash could just be biding her time until the day came when she could cause real harm or could take everything for herself.
