Chapter 4 - Getting Stronger

Chapter 4: Power Awakened

As soon as I entered my room, I opened my system interface—still buzzing from the village's reactions earlier. My eyes landed on the number glowing at the top of the screen:

[Shock Points: 15,000]

Actually, after a few background calculations, it showed 16,000. Maybe some villagers had been extra shocked after all.

I immediately navigated to the System Shop, eyes scanning through the list of abilities available for purchase.

---

[System Shop]

Armament Haki — 2,500 Points

Observation Haki — 2,500 Points

Conqueror's Haki — 2,500 Points

Rokushiki Techniques — 3,000 Points

Swordsman Realm Entry — 3,000 Points

---

Just reading the list made my heart race.

These were the powers wielded by the strongest figures in One Piece—the core techniques of Admirals, Yonko, and legendary swordsmen. And now… they were mine for the taking.

Without hesitation, I selected all five.

[Total Points Spent: 14,500]

[Remaining Points: 1,500]

As soon as I confirmed the purchase, a flood of information surged into my mind.

Memories—not my own—rushed through my head. Visions of soldiers performing Geppo to soar through the sky, masters of Haki sensing the killing intent of others, swordsmen slicing steel as though it were paper… it was like I had lived a hundred lifetimes in a second.

When it ended, I was kneeling on the floor, breathing heavily.

I clenched my fists and felt the strength ripple through me. My body had changed. My aura was sharper. Stronger.

I could feel it.

With Ban's abilities, my immortal body, and now Haki, Rokushiki, and the path of the sword—I was undoubtedly the strongest being in East Blue. Even future Smoker wouldn't stand a chance against me now.

But strength without experience is like a sword with no edge.

So, I went deep into the jungle, seeking the biggest and wildest beasts in the area. I didn't hold back—I fought with full force. I used Shigan, Tekkai, Soru, Geppo, and mixed them seamlessly with sword techniques and Ban's powers. Each battle sharpened my instincts, refined my control, and boosted my confidence.

The system even rewarded me small shock points when animals witnessed something unusual—probably due to primal fear.

Eventually, I returned to the village, sweaty, bruised—but burning with determination. There was still more to gain. More to master. The advanced forms of Haki and higher sword realms would cost me 6,000 points each, totaling 24,000 points.

I needed more Shock Points.

And I needed someone to train with consistently.

That's when I found Garp, munching on a fruit under a tree.

"Garp," I called out.

He looked up, curious. "Where are we going, brother?"

I grinned. "To train. We're going to get stronger. We're going to become marines—no, legends."

His eyes lit up. "Really?! Okay then—let's train!"

And that was it.

From that day forward, Monkey D. Gojo and Monkey D. Garp trained like madmen—brothers chasing a dream, destined to shake the world.
