"I still need to get better at this. I'm the leader of this group. I need to be able to look after my own." Ariel says, tying back her red hair, holding one of her tools in her mouth as she puts her hair into a neat bob in the back.
"I'm surprised you even decided to pick up the repairs. It isn't exactly your profession boss…" Decim comments, still surprised at how well Ariel has picked up the skill with little background.
"I'm aware of that, but none of us know how to pick up the pieces once things start falling apart. I can't sit back and watch my crew fall to bits, especially now that we're down another member. God Garret." Ariel tears up, cracks in her mental mask start to form threatening to spill forward with stabbing waves of grief.
"I'm sorry boss, I didn't mean to stir up anything." Decim extends his hand out placing it on her shoulder.
