The wall was built by an ancient civilization that used them to control their people or, to keep the different civilisations separate so they could prosper uniquely that's what I think at least.

That's how old I was when I found remnants of the ancient civilization
It was a game of hide and seek with my brother and sister in our potato fields when the ground shook and the sky lit up in bright light and loud bangs, we were scared me and my brother but our older sister wasn't, she was brave and strong she was our mom when it was just us she assured us it was ok she told us it was an earthquake and taught us what it was, our brother was never the sharpest tool though so she sent him to our parents on the front varanda so they could help him understand, he didn't come back after that so it was just big sis and I she told me a lot about the earthquake and what caused it "The Dragon League Fire Festival" is what caused it and the fire in the sky is called a firework she is so smart and so reliable in times like this Im always so glad I have her as my sister
"One day I'll take you to see the festival Asy pinky promise you won't see it without me first"
She put her hand out her pinky out stretched

I followed suit wrapping my finger around hers

I don't know how large my smile was at the time but my cheeks hurt
I wasn't giving much more time to think as the shaking got much worse as I fell to the floor out parents rushing to get us as the ground itself seemed to open to swallow me a just barley not reaching my sister as I pushed her away
my parents rushed to pick her up was the last thing I saw as everythng went dark
when I woke it was dark my ears were ringing and my body quaked as my bones ached as I managed to stand the biting chill on my body let me know I was wet as I quivered

Everything went dark again quicker this time
By the time I woke the puddle I was in had gotten inside my mouth it didn't taste good So I spat it out I tried to stand if I say in The puddle for too long I'll get sick so I used the wall to help me get up I was too dark to see anoso I just held my hand against the wall and slowly stood almost slipping as the wall was wet as well
My legs hurt and my body aches
I took a step and almost fell catching myself on the rocky wall an involuntary wail ripped from my lips as extreme pain shot up my arm and leg causing me to fall into another puddle a tidal wave of tears and sobs that I had been desperately holding in flooded the once empty cave with a sense of claustrophobia
I curled into myself trying to find finding what little warmth I had left in the cave whos wall seemed to be rapidly closing in on me my eyelids getting heavy my body shaking and trembling while what little warmth I had faded into the ever closing darkness of the cave
"alice mom please I'm sorry for everything "
My voice was barely heard by myself over the deafining silence of the cave the darkness was so close now its so dark here then it vanished the silence that deafened me replaced my a whirl and a low hum as blue pattern shimmered on the wall like the night sky calling my name
"so p-" everything went dark again then Alice was there in the bed with me holding me tightly not relaxing for even a second within seconds of waking she saw my open eyes
"Asylum you're awake are you ok? What happened? Does anything still hurt? Can you still see me? In so sorry I didn't ca-"
She was cut off by my crying as I hugged
"*Sniffle* Alice yo-*hick*you came for me I love you I love you I love you I'm sorry I'm sorry i-"I was cut off by an intense pain in my jaw thoat and side as a yelp and a whine fell from my lips

I looked down at my lap

My voice trembled as I quietly spoke
