Samuel paused for a while. His hand moved to the back of her head and pressed lightly. Luna instinctively used her arms to support herself when her head was pushed down. She pressed her lips together and held her breath, afraid that their lips would touch.
Samuel knew that her reaction was a refusal to be intimate.
He removed his hand from the back of her head and squeezed her shoulder. "What do you think?" he retaliated.
Luna pursed her lips and widened her eyes. She shook her head, still holding her breath.
"Breathe. If you pass out on top of me, I won't know how to deal with it."
Luna opened her mouth and took deep breaths. After she had calmed her breathing, she replied tentatively, "I think I had provoked you, so you were messing around with me."
Samuel's chest rose and fell as he took a deep breath.
"It was indeed fun to mess around with you," he finally replied.
