This Spirit could take form in many different ways, sometimes being a 'will' of the world, like the Heavens in the world of cultivation, and other times sort of as a primal instinct that the world had to defend itself that wasn't quite solidly conceptualised. In other cases, some minor realms had a deity or 'God' that existed, that could also guide the realm in certain directions, sort of like a driver of a bus.
In the case of what Di Tou had just seen, the world on the other side seemed to be a bit in this third category, and a bit in the second category. It seemed like the world as a whole was in a very ancient and early stage, it could be considered a very new world, and at the moment the world was dominated by what could be considered a mythical beast.
