"Madam Babara!" In a few metres away on deck, secretary Jamila yelled nervous and excited.
Long shiny black hair waved like a horse tail while she turned her face to them. In too much excitement, secretary Jamila ran so fast into her chest and shared a very passionate hug. The chefs were watching through the door glass opening.
"Wow...! I've never seen such a beauty", all the chefs couldn't believe their eyes.
"Who is she?"
On hearing the chefs murmuring compliments, Felix hurried up to where they were standing to take a look at what they were watching.
"Babara!" Felix blurted, so suprised to see her alive.
"I've been so much worried about you," with great affection in the her eyes, secretary Jamila told Babara Yen.
"Why? I was the one worried. Where had both of you gone to?" Babara spoke with pretence.
"Really!"
Secretary Jamila wondered. According to the way the gunmen forced them off the ship, the bodyguard too couldn't believe his boss' words.
"Young lady, these two colleagues of yours reported a case of kidnap to us, that's why we are here", the coastguardman intervened.
"I think they're just too worried about me", Babara replied with a relaxed smile.
"Can you please explain to us what happened?" Requested the coastguard.
"It was.... just a simple misunderstanding that raised worries. Allow me to apologise for the inconvenience with this small token," with a bundle of dollars, Babara Yen rewarded the coastguards and appreciated them for their good deed.
The coastguards expressed great happiness as they recieved the cash. However, while they turned to leave, one of them stepped back a bit.
"Uh, excuse me Madam, we know this ship belongs to Mr. Franklin and it always gunmen almost at every corner, How comes there's no security here this early morning?"
Highly excited, secretary Jamila ran so fast into Babara Yen's chest and shared a very passionate hug.
"I've been longing to meet you again _ was so much worried about you," in her eyes showed great affection as she spoke.
"Why worried?" Boldly in pretence, Babara asked saying, "I was the one worried. On looking behind me, you two were no where to be seen.... You just can't believe how anxious and crazy your absence drove me! I Waited impatiently to see you showing up in the lounge but you were no where to be seen. Am glad you're here with me now."
Relieved, the bodyguard humbled himself as he watched the space. With a smile quirking corners of his mouth as though the situation was under control, that finally his boss was safe and sound, effortlessly.
"Cough cough!" A loud call for attention. "Sorry for interrupting your excitement," in a deep and serious voice, intervened the coast guard officer, "it looks like the story is different from what we expected to find on ground according to the report which came out way, especially from her."
"Yeah," immediately, before his colleague took a breath, the second officer supplemented: "anxiously trembling when she approached us, she explained how conc sure she was, that her boss was kidnapped on Franklin Baron's ship."
"Yes," the first coast guard officer to talk came again, "infact she expected you to be deeply injured by now if not dead, hence these feet leading us here."
Gently, "oh, so sorry," as Babara leaned out of Jamila's chest, "I think they just got too worried about me. You know how strict the security on this gigantic ship can be," Babara replied, so relaxed in her princess charming voice, with a gorgeous smile.
Secretary Jamila couldn't figure out why allover a sudden Babara had to tell lies, so with a look of perplexity on her face, she gestured.
Interrupting in people's business was not a bodyguard's thing, and much as secretary Jamila threw a concerned eye at him, he kept his distance by looking away.
Still thirsty from Babara's brief submission, "can you please explain to us what really happened, if you don't mind?" Politely requested, the coast guard officer.
Stutteringly, "umm, it was.... It was just a simple misunderstanding that raised questions and worries, you know these two are my new employees; my secretary here and my personal bodyguard; new to the rules and regulations."
Babara Yen, quickly collected her handbag from secretary Jamila, "Please allow me to apology for inconveniencing your duties, with this small token," she delved into the bag and picked out a bundle of cash and handed it over to the coast guard officers smiling, just to divert them unknowingly from asking her questions she wasn't ready for.
Perfectly well, Babara's logic worked. Received with great appreciation, the officers nearly dropped their knees down to thank her. However, as grown-up men in uniform, they had to reserve the uniform reputation.
In the midst of thanking, the coast guards resorted from calling Babara Yen 'young lady', to titling her 'madam boss' depending on the much money they excitedly held in their hands from her.
"Not once in my life time have I ever had such big sums!" "never!" They rejoiced, "thank you very much madam boss, thank you!" Hand in hand, the coast guard officers backed each other up, excitedly.
"I think we have to be on our way now, if you don't mind," humbly the coast guards were good to go.
"No problem," gladly smiling, Babara Yen wished them a fair well.
As they turned to leave, however, one of them stepped back a bit, "uh.... excuse me Madam boss, we know this ship belongs to Mr. Franklin Baron and, there are always gunmen almost at every corner," he pointed a finger in some of the locations where gunmen should be, "how comes there's no security at all?"
"Oh, the gun men! Uh..., you know, me and my husband Mr. Franklin Baron just got married last night."
"What?" Secretary Jamila got shocked by the statement and looked at Babara with confounded eyes.
"Wow, that's pretty cool!" Said the coast guard officers as well wishers.
"Yeah, and last night everyone drunk legs up heads down, uh... here was indeed a big party with roof opening music, twerking bikini ladies, comestibles, popping big bottles to mention but a few."
"Really!"
Secretary Jamila's gestures uneasy as her facial expression speaks doubt. She can't ask her boss questions in the presence of the coast guards.
However, the officers were already burning in Babara Yen's frying pan of lies, "We missed," attentively they listened.
"Of course you missed, and as you know the life of our security guards, spends a long while to play with ladies _ So yesterday, with all the pretty party animals who gathered to celebrate our love, was the right time for them to mix and mingle," she gave a convincing fake smile.
"Wonderful," the coast guards were convinced, "now I understand how tired they became, to be asleep by this time, fatigued from yesterday."
On smiling faces, " congratulations on your new life journey, we're indeed happy for you and Mr. Franklin Baron, no doubt your offsprings are going to be the cutest."
"Alright, enjoy the rest of your day, and thank you," Babara Yen couldn't wait to have them leaving.
Along their way to get off the gigantic ship, from a distance they saw Felix and five chefs coming outside on deck, "Mr. Felix!" calling his name aloud, the coast guard officers lifted their hands and waved to him smiling happily.
However, Felix, whose face was frowned sadly from the deepest of his heart, even though he saw them waving, he never waved back. He gave a quick glance anyway.
"Seriously madam Babara! Did you mean everything you just said to the officers?" Anxiously, secretary Jamila asked.
"You were kidding, right?"
Babara just blushed.
