To those unfamiliar with the name, it might sound like nothing more than an ordinary man's name. After all, names aren't unique, countless people can share the same one. But for those who did know who he was— and the family he came from— hearing that name alone was enough to send a shiver down their spine and spark the desperate hope that he would never suddenly appear in their vicinity.
A mad scientist of the Hughes family. Those in the military, and those who understood the true significance of that family, knew better than to cross paths with him.
In the realm of business, however, it was different. Businessmen, oddly enough, adored the man. Many sought to win Zion Hughes's favor, hoping to draw him into their ventures. But really— were they blind to who he was? Zion Hughes refused to work even with his own family. What confidence could they possibly have that he would ever 'notice' them, let alone submit himself as someone's subordinate?
