Villain Ch 1656. I'm Listening
The café door chimed sharply.
Allen looked up, his brows furrowing slightly.
He had expected Mila to come back down.
But seeing both Mila and Vivian rushing across the sidewalk toward the entrance?
That was… unexpected.
Their faces were flushed, breath quick, eyes wide with something more than just embarrassment — urgency.
Vivian pulled open the glass door first, holding it for Mila as they slipped inside.
Heads turned briefly from a few quiet patrons, but neither girl cared. Their heels tapped rapidly against the wooden floor as they beelined straight for Allen's corner booth like two agents returning from a botched mission.
Both of them dropped into the seats across from him, nearly in sync.
Allen set his teacup down slowly, watching them with that signature unreadable stare. Calm. Controlled. Sharp as always.
"Allen."
"You need to listen."
They spoke in unison.
He raised an eyebrow.
