Chapter 4 - A friendly feud

Jonah looked at Jin in disappointment, "He is half Asian, half American, meaning we can't show his face."

The inspector caught the words, "You want to make him a masked supe?"

"The only way to make him accepted by the United States and by Vought, because no American will accept a half breed as an icon..."

The inspector nodded in acknowledgment of the plan. "So, what are your plans with him?"

"I will give him some experience and make John's debut first. Then slowly creep him in, as a rival to John."

"Don't tell me...you are gonna use him to make John the true icon?!"

Jonah sighed, "Then tell me, what can I do? They will never accept this monster nor appreciate his existence. I cannot abandon my greatest creation."

"What are you gonna make him into?"

"The Villain."

Recalling his powers, the inspector gulped silently, "You crazy mad man. What if he rebels?!"

"I have many backup plans, don't worry, trust me, I've come this far for a reason," said Jonah as he smiled. "What do you think of my greatest creation?"

"I wonder if it will be the greatest creation of humanity, or the greatest destruction..." muttered the inspector as he walked out.

After giving him more results of their tests, the inspector asked, "In three years, I will come back."

"I understand, safe travels."

Jonah and his underlings waved goodbye to the helicopter taking the inspector back to the headquarters.

Another three years went by, after the meeting with the inspector, Jonah made Jin wear a black mask covering his face, with only his lower half, making his eyes visible.

Jin's hair grew past his forehead, in a wolf cut that he cut himself using his lightning affinity by making it sharp as plasma, using his sharigan to look at a mirror.

Currently, Jin was in a pod filled with a liquid that made him unable to breathe, but weirdly, he was calm as his air intake became less.

Struggling to breathe, he began to thrash as every oxygen cell left his body, falling unconscious, the doctors fished him out and began to cut his flesh over and over.

Jin felt the pain in every single cut. Every time he passed out, his defenses would weaken to an okay level, to where they could cut it using the sharpest tools on earth.

Regaining consciousness in his bed, he wasn't surprised and sprang up groaning. His muscles always ached when they were healing. Looking at the mission task that was almost finished, Jin smirked.

In front of him was a blue panel that read: "Mission: Gain as much pain as possible in three years. Redeem Y/N, 2 hours left remaining."

"Two hours, maybe I should redeem right now, or I might forget."

Suddenly, he saw that his cell door was open, standing in front of him was Jonah in his regular attire, and the inspector he saw using his sharigan in his sleep.

The two never noticed that under Jin's closed eyes was his three tomoe sharingan, able to see enough but not a lot.

The pathways of the human body, two human bodies, talking about him when he came to visit three years ago.

Jin stretched and got up slowly. "Doctor, and who might you be?" asked Jin as he bowed to both of them.

Looking at the mask, the inspector nodded in agreement, "Good, but I am not here for nothing. I need both subjects to face each other; the higher-ups wanted to know who is stronger."

Jonah's eyes widen in surprise and shock, "B-But, John has only begun to do those kinds of tests, if we make him fight..."

The inspector chuckled, "You dare betray the orders of the company?" Glaring at Jonah with a red glint in his eyes.

Jonah gained his composure again and gulped heavily, "I...okay, fine."

"Don't worry, after this, you will be rewarded generously."

After hearing that, Jonah became excited, and they dragged Jin to a familiar white room filled with marble.

Opening the doors, they all saw John sitting on the floor, quietly watching them enter. His eyes light up when they see Jonah, but when they land on Jin, something spawns.

Jealousy, the way Jonah was looking at Jin was how he wanted Jonah to look at him. Gripping his fingers, cracks sounded as he watched the group come beside him.

His eyes never left Jin, a boy who was taller than him but with a black mask, black hair with blonde tips as well, and black eyes.

The inspector found the tension amusing, clapping his hands, he announced, "We will conduct a battle to test you both. Do not hold back, or else."

Glaring at both of the kids, they both nodded silently, adding, "Now, both of you, head to your sides and prepare for a battle!"

Slowly floating up, John floated towards the other side of Jin, who did the same but without the floating part.

The inspector and Jonah took shelter behind the usual room that overlooked the room. With a one-way wall as well.

Speaking on the monitor, "Fight!" announced the inspector as his eyes honed in on the two kids.

Jonah just watched in silence and acceptance.

In the battle room, John sized up Jin up and down. Noticing his lean build, he flew towards Jin and cocked back his fist.

Throwing a Superman fist, his flying was wobbly and unstable, so Jin slid under him and grasped his arm, slamming him twice, and letting him go.

Feeling a bit dizzy, John grew angry at the audacity and flew crazily towards Jin, who calmly stood there.

"He needs to work on his temper," said the inspector, sighing.

Nodding, Jonah watched as Jin evaded every strike and just threw John around like a rag doll.

Getting up from the ground again, wiping the blood off his lips, John's eyes grew red, and two violent red beams of pure plasma came out, aiming at Jin.

This forced Jin to activate his Sharingan subconsciously due to the speed of the attack surpassing the speed of sound by miles.

Narrowly dodging as the laser singed Jin's cheek, he looked at John's triumphant smile. "Got you."

The inspector smirked, "Running is not gonna get you anywhere. Now we know Jin isn't invincible, how will John proceed from this point?"

Shooting two laser beams out of his eyes again, Jin jumped around using his acrobatics, but some lasers grazed his skin.

Seeing that his lasers were hitting Jin, John began to chuckle madly, "DIE!"

Even though his eyes were dry, John was still shooting lasers, while Jin only dodged. Then, in the air, he suddenly remembered his f*cking mission.

Jumping down while dodging another pair of laser beams, he turned off his eyes, making the trio confused.

Even making John stop shooting his lasers. Noticing a smirk on Jin's face, he noticed that the hits on his body were already healed. His eyes grew red again as the lasers finally hit Jin's chest directly, blasting him back against the wall.

John's eyes grew wide in delight as he found out that he connected. "HAHA! DIE!"

Spamming his lasers, Jin's body, that was against the wall, all the inspector and Jonah saw was a bright flash of red continuously hitting a wall.

Learning how to shoot longer lasers, John began to stop shooting individual ones, but a continuous stream.

Feeling his eyes dry up and hurt, he closed them slowly but not without falling onto one knee. Shooting that many lasers took a lot out of him.

"Is...he dead?" asked the inspector curiously as he stared into the broken wall.

"You really underestimate him, didn't you forget? He survived a nuke as a kid..."

"Oh, I did forget...get ready for round two then."

Massaging his eyes, as they healed, he looked at the broken wall and put his hands up as if he had won. "I...have won-"

Slowly, out of the rubble, the wall began to collapse as a figure began to emerge...
