Chapter 3 - Magic Book

Vallo's name was replaced with Yusha, she didn't cry, nor did she make a fuss. Perhaps she was physically weak, but that notion was soon proven wrong once she walked like any other child. She started walking everywhere, and anywhere around the house, the kitchen, the back door, the supply shed, the cleaning closet, the fireplace, and so on.

As a child, his days were spent just leaning into the bedroom window, nothing more than staring.

The second time he gazed, the sound of the swing from the courtyard wood pierced his ears, its rough form with a soft woolen handle, the length of time he had practiced composed in terms of a series of exercises. Positioning himself, and arranging within range of the enemy proved that the man was a type of warrior from this world.

"By the way, that old man is my father, he said he used his body for more than ten years as a mercenary, horrifying. As a father, he's great with the economy still flowing in the hand."

The second day looked ordinary, circling the courtyard of the house with a more attentive intention. found soft clouds coming from the south, white and slightly covering the roofs of other houses in the distance.

The gold field that was pulled by the cart yesterday was ruined, between the fields was a small river, so the people in the village anticipated flooding by utilizing the water to the fields.

Life in the village is peaceful without technology, most houses have the same lighting, water source, clothing, and food. For more specific matters, such as weddings and births, it can be directly forwarded to the city, with the condition that a week before it has left the village.

The village hall is on the edge of the fields, symmetrically located in the center of the village. Its function is to accommodate the aspirations of the residents, provide services for illnesses, and become a center for fostering art and culture in the village.

The village is quite large with many houses, not many people, but it is fairly prosperous. Word of mouth says it's all thanks to the change from the regent in the city.

On the third day of a new, safe, and peaceful life, suitable for...

"Study, practice, and technique."

Thinking that sports was something that could wait, he decided to make this world writing system his first subject.

Finding the book wasn't difficult, there were five books at home with different story endings. The language was close to the old world, so in understanding the content of the text, he could do so at a faster pace.

Every night she clinked her fingers, was read a fairy tale, and progressed easily to the word retrieval stage. Her availability in reading books she passed through, finding the contents of sheet to sheet interesting.

Of the five books he read, the last two were basically fantasy novels, but the other three were made to be studied well. it was the magic textbook that particularly caught his attention. As a person who came from a world without magic, the opportunity to read the actual documentation in it was very relevant to his interests.

First, magic generally came in three kinds; attack magic, healing magic, and summoning magic. The three differed depending on function, the application of which was done in a practice that prioritized the power of the magus.

Magus can be thought of as batteries, they hold energy to provide power. When the energy supplies power, embedded in a person to use imagery, it is called a spell.

Secondly, recognizing the need for the use of magic in one's magical powers. A person's need for magic is valid when they have it. Inborn and inherited from parents can guarantee that, so there are no more specific examples.

Thirdly, the content only refers to the pronunciation of words and writing down mystical patterns. Pronunciation of words is done through mantras, for patterns it is described by magic circles.

The details of both depend on the user, the mantra is usually set in a light depiction, and the magic circle is usually more complex as it uses a prefix framework.

The prefix framework is the main pattern in magic, most magic that has a prefix framework is ancient magic. The work of magic is the same, but the time in taking patterned magic prioritizes a long time.

For the difference in strength, it is more regulated by the time series that is carried out. This means that superior strength does not guarantee the time series, everything is based on the depiction.

Mantras are superior in time stages, the sequence is easier because it uses pronunciation.

Mystic patterns are more complex in terms of organizing attacks. Its influence in the means of attack, has its own way of depicting the magic circle.

Fourth, recognize a person's potential in their talent. A person who has a magus, is shortened the distance of his potential to choose a magic talent. As a result, of the seven major magics, one can only take three of them.

Magic spells remain the main means, the selection of talent is done from birth without provisions. So...

"It's a little nervous..."

Under the theory he was reading, he gulped at the practice spells. Both were the same, both included spells and magic circles.

As she understood it, magic appeared depending on the magus. This statement intimidated her, making her feel the need to risk. While pinning her hopes on the gene, she left everything to the spell, she chose water for it.

The part of his hand aligned with his shoulder, imagining an apple in his hand, then cast.

"Let the vast waters converge, converge on a pure axis that is singular in its substance... Paras of water!"

Something emerged from the fingernail, softened to take the form of an orderly thread, and flung it out with a pounding force. Now his eyes were satisfied, the relief on the shoulders relaxed down with sweat, panting from it all, and smiled lively for a while.

"This is messed up..." her hands hardened stiffly, but she still maintained her smile.

Her hands still felt the blood flowing afterwards, it felt like there was a sting in the pulse many times. For some reason, she lay limp, reached out to the eye, and called out...

"I did it...!!!" The first time.

Yesterday his body was weak, he rested for one night, and tried the spell once more. The plan was to practice with the stipulations still in the book, and maintain it at a daily pace.

Repeatedly, he felt blood flowing in his hands, then felt stiff afterwards. The chanting of the spell was dedicated. So for him, he felt at ease because of that.

After that, from only having a mantra, he reduced the mantra to the word stage. The details are not explained in the book. But clearly, the structure of magic could be changed thanks to his studies.

The rest of the time in trying, he determines the size, speed, and activation on the spell. The more he tries, there is a time window, where magical power can be added to affect the size. The method is still the same for determining the rate of speed, so adjustments can be made when casting.

The idea of spells is not perfect in the book, mostly paragraph to paragraph attempts to understand spells. But how to put the flow of magus in the use of spells is not explained. He found the formulation of the problem, and his hypothesis was solved in a new sense.

In the stage of magic, casting spells is the same as speaking words. That means, magic wants words to take shape. The control can be changed, as long as the magic in the body can be focused through thought. So, spells without chanting can happen. The size, and speed can be determined, but the activation is changed using thought.

Spells are words that come out of the lips, but magic requires images to activate.

The origin of magic does not have to manifest in spells and chants, they want imagery, where resonance in the mind can make it happen.
