I open my eyes and smile a little when I am greeted by the sleeping face of Yasaka. I carefully step back and let her get some sleep. Yesterday was a hectic day, not only for me, but also for her.
We are expanding, and there are many legal matters we need to address. It is especially exhausting for Yasaka because not only does she need to attend many meetings with the Supernatural World, but also with people from the mundane world.
So, I let her have some deserved sleep.
I walk into the kitchen and see many servants already at work. I nod and say.
"Can you make some coffee for me? Black."
"Of course, my lord."
Sometimes I miss making my own food, but you cannot do that here. As the official consort of a Youkai Queen, I need to maintain an image, and among them is to never make something mundane on my own.
Every now and then is not a problem. However, it will become a problem when you do it every day or often enough for the whisper to start spreading. It is better to ask the maids and butlers to do it.
After a couple of minutes, one of the servants served me a coffee, and I gave her a nod. I take a sip of the coffee and release a sigh. Man, money really lets you get anything you want. Usually, I only use instant coffee and would be glad to have it before going to college.
Now? Now I never drink anything that is worth less than 500,000 Yen. That is the per-ten-gram price, by the way. I don't know what kind of coffee it was, but Yasaka said that it was specially planted and harvested from deep in the northern part of Russia.
I didn't know that Russia had delicious coffee beans until now.
While sipping my coffee, a familiar blue hologram appears before me.

I smile a little at the system appearing. Over the past few weeks, the system has provided many benefits to my company. It gives me a lot of cards that make people trust my company and are less likely to question it. It does not stop there. The system also gives me another card, further increasing the company's popularity and making it one of the fastest-growing companies in the world.
I wonder what kind of thing it will grant me. I don't mind getting those cards once again. Hell, I want them to appear once again. We want to expand to the US, and getting another of those cards will greatly help the expansion.
It will also help the energy company. We will open an energy plant in Texas soon, and it would be great if there were something that would help us make the grand opening go smoothly and without any problems.
With a hum, I return my focus to the system in front of me. With a mental command, I press the Y button, and something stirs within me. After a few seconds, I do not feel anything has changed inside of me. That can only mean that I receive items or something like that.
I look down and read the system.

A small rush of knowledge enters my brain. What I receive is a workshop for a high-class magus. Because of my specializations, the workshop has many tools and materials that enable me to create Class Cards. Sadly, the materials inside the workshop only allow me to create low-level Class Cards like the one created by the Ainsworth family.
It is not the best, but it is good enough for me. At least now I don't need to search for materials if I want to create more Class Cards for others.
For now, I need to decide where to open the portal that will connect this world to the Nier Universe. I need a place that is relatively hidden, but not too far away from the city, or at least a small town.
There should be a village not too far away from here, right? It is a Youkai Village, so it is protected from the eyes of the mundane people. I have land there from the system. I've not visited that place since I received the deeds.
I can visit that place and start to construct a vacation home there. It is a perfect place for Yasaka and me to have our vacation. It is not too far away from here, so Yasaka can return in case of emergency, but far enough away for us to enjoy a quiet night.
Yeah. Let's visit that village later. For now, I need to enjoy my coffee and slow morning.

"Is this the place, Ryan?"
Yasaka looks at the empty land in front of us. I take out the land deed and read through the details.
"Yup. This is the land. My land ends from that bamboo pole over there to the edge of the road over there."
"Not bad. We can build a mansion here, complete with a small garden."
Yeah. It is a surprise that the land is this big. I really need to review all the land deeds the system gave me in the past. There are a few of them inside my Gate of Babylon. However, most of them are in other countries. Maybe later. I am too busy at the moment to visit those lands and houses.
"Do you want to call the crew? Or should I?"
"I will call them. Could you be a dear and rent rooms for us, Ryan?"
"Sure."
White and I walk toward the local Ryokan and see a ghostly-looking woman sitting behind the counter. I give her a smile and say.
"Good morning."
The woman looks at me in shock and immediately tidies up her clothes. She immediately bows toward me and says.
"Welcome to my humble Ryokan, My Lord!"
"Please raise your head. I am here to rent a room or two for my companions and me."
"Lady Yasaka will stay here?!"
I chuckle a little at her face because I understand her shock. It is like hearing that the President wants to stay in your small inn. Worse, Yasaka is a queen and someone who can back her words.
"Yup~ We will be here for two to three days. We wonder if there are rooms for us to stay here."
"Of course, my lord! We have all the rooms! We rarely get any guests this time of the year."
"Great! Can you give us your best room? Also, will that include food and an onsen?"
"Yes, my lord! Food plan already included in the Exclusive Rooms, and I can prepare the onsen for your private use."
"Thank you."
After putting my name down and paying for the room (the owner tries to make it free, but I convince her not to), I leave the Ryokan and see that Yasaka has finished calling the construction crew. I walk toward her and say.
"How is it, dear?"
"They will arrive here in a few hours and will work immediately. It should be done by tomorrow morning."
"Perfect. Anyway, the rooms are ready. Let's enjoy some onsen and the food prepared for us."
